Toon Dwayne 8
When I took the base Dwayne into ZBrush the fingers are very squished at the top, the distance between the first nuckle to second knuckle is about average second to third shorter and the third to tip is rediculously squished. Not sure if that's part of the problem. Honestly the morph itself ... seems a bit rushed to me. The forearms the flow of the verts is really wonky when viewed in ZBrush too. I love seeing all the renders used to make him your own and I guess just small amounts goes a long long way to make him more pleasing to the eye. Clothed he looks OK as you don't see allot of that stuff but boy bare chested and up close looking over the hands, it's really quite .. I don't know.... weird to me.
Toon Dwayne 8I made him into a half-orc. Dwayne body 52% and Dwayne head 61% with bodybuilder morphs added in and some of EJ's fantasy morphs. I also made him a bit taller and used the genesis 8 base skin instead of the one he came with. I'm having the same problem with the wonky fingers when using the proportion adjuster morph though. Would like to have toned his forearms down a smidge.
Script to strip morphs out of a pose?Morphs often make poses unusable. They can be really hard to find and zero because they get lost in the shaping morphs I DO want used, and often the text is greyed out, making them even harder to ferret out. Anyone know a script or something to help with this? A script to zero any morphs used in the pose just applied would be good, or a script to zero any morphs not memorized (that way I could memorize just before using the problematic pose), something like that, would not go amiss.
no need script for a basic feature in DAZ menu
use menu,, >> Edit > Figure> restore > "restore figure shape"
it redo to default shape or 'user' morph (in case you use the 'memorize figure shape)
in case you use several time the feature, une "custom action" and place in toolbar of your Daz
also, if you use extended morph, remember to apply Rigging "Adjut rigging to shape" that help for poses (also in Daz menu)G8F: Height changing body morphs break IK. Figure jumps up or down when moving body partsThe bug is apparently present also with the Height morph of Genesis 8 Male Body Morphs set.
The new Farmer ClothesThere is one "adjust leg length" morph. It raises the pant legs by about 3-4" on the figure and flares the bottom slightly (I suspect this is to help the pants fit over shoes/hiking boot style footwear).
The new Farmer ClothesHere are just the overalls loaded onto a Michael 8 default body shape, "No Shirt" morph at 100%.

Those do look nice, but is there a morph for a wider pants leg? I get that they tuck the pants into the boots, but I'm sure a lot of people wear the pants outside the boots, or maybe cuff the pants. Having it open down there provides better airflow in the heat. Just wondering.
Problem with Toon Girl for Genesis 8 Female and MRL Amara Braids HairIve been trying for days to get the MRL Amara Braids hair and some other hairs especially Ponytails to fit properly on Toon Girl for genesis 8 but they dont seem to fit well without distorting. Buy when I dial done the Toon girl for genesis 8 morph, everything seem to work perfectly. is it just me or is the Toon girl for genesis 8 not compatible with hair Even from the Genesis 8 base line.Toon Dwayne 8I'm more disappointed in the lack of add on's for him. It's all poses and outfit textures. No other characters. I would have loved a morph pack from P3D or some other characters from PA's more along the lines of Brandon.
Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 11I really don’t like the height being baked into the body morph. They haven’t done that since Leo 7. Body morphs should not include scaling. The big crab arms are odd but Brandon looks good. Brandon should’ve been the base I think.

Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 11I don’t care for Dwayne base at all but the content in the pro bundle is worth the 30 bucks.

I was on the fence, but decided to get the Dwayne pro bundle. I like the hair products, and would be willing to buy them separatly, but getting four toon items, (including Cookie, which I've been waiting for months to get cheaply, not really needing her…,) and bringing the price down to $33 and change madie it worth the cost. (I got three Toonimals, as well, including the Mod Squad bundle.)
I'm not thrilled with the Dwayne 8 Base figure. Those Popeye arms make the body shape less versatile. It's great that FWHP provided a morph with Boris to adjust the proportions, (even if it needs fixing,) but such a morph should have been included with Dwayne. I am happy, however, to get three more toon materials sets. And with a bit of finagling, I can use those materials on G3M as well.
I don't really need any of the clothing sets, but I see lots of kitbashing potential. Except for the Elvis jumpsuit, but I suspect I'll have a lot of fun with that one, regardless!
Skin Builder 8 Merchant Resource for Genesis 8 Female (Commercial)"edit stupid question can I put a texture I made with SB2 with SB8 and use it for a product for both G3F and G8F?"
I'm sure you mean SB3? The hidden rule is, which is not in the merchant resource,
For SkinBuilder 3 you only allowed to sell for Genesis 3 Female characters, but you can include a Genesis 8 character morphs set where the skins are shared, that is allowed. But NO Genesis 8 Female Standalone character is allowed for sale using Skin Builder 3. For SkinBuilder 8, same rule applies, you can include a Genesis 3 Female character morph version, But NO standalone Genesis 3 Female character is allowed for sale using Skin Builder 8. The native figure for the respective Merchant resources must be present. Hope that makes sense.
So if we own both SB3 and SB8, can we make native characters for both G3F and G8F and sell them together in one product? Or do we need to sell them as separate products? Does it matter?

GenX2 - Need HelpI'm trying to use GenX2 for the first time. I have the genx window open. From the source, I select Genesis 2 Male. I then go the content pane and find the charcter I want to transfer from G2M to G3M. I drag the icon for applying the head onto the transfer tab. Then I set select button to transfer non-zero morphs and then I run it and fill out the name etc. Then I repeat this for the body. Then I close and restart Daz Studio. I load G3M and locate the shaping morphs that were created, but when I dial them up, the head seems to change some (so maybe it is working), but the body morph doesn't seem to do anything. Does draging the icon for loading the morphs on to the transfer tab active the morphs in GenX or do you have to check them manually?
I allso tried loading the character into my scene and then running Genx2 and telling to use the option for the figure in the scene. So I think that should create a full body morph to the head and the figure, but again the shaping morph that gets created does nothing. It changes neither the head or the body. So I must be missing a step somewhere.
Also is there away to delete the shaping morphs that I have created that do nothing.
I also noticed that when I select G2M as the source, that if I look at morphs that are loaded into GenX2 that many of my characters are listed under the actor folder (I think), so does that mean if you want to transfer them that you stil have to load them by dragging the icon on to the transfer tab, or do you just select them in the Genx2 window. For example, I see Ash listed under source when G2M has been selected. I think there was one enter for Ash....character and two that said Ash body. I tried selected the Ash chaaracter, and clicking transfer, but it give a warning that it contains no morphs.
Thanks
Ultimate dForce Bed - Render & Support thread [Commercial]I can not find the quilting morph ? where can I find it
Moving ContentI am setting up a new library and currently still have the old one. I would like to be able to just transfer all my Genesis stuff to the new library and not the poser runtime stuff. I have very old poser stuff that I don't use and don't want included in my new library. Does anyone know which files I can move to just get my Genesis products moved to my new library? What do we WANT from the next male G8 base?I may be missing something, but seems to me there are better ways to transfer both morphs and textures.

What do we WANT from the next male G8 base?I would just like a classically handsome man 30-ish. (In real life too!) Like a young Robert Redford or Nathan Fillion or even a young Edward 8. Also an M4 for G8. M4 was the last Daz Original male I actually found attractive. I can morph handsome guys myself off the base G8 with all the morphs I have, but it would be nice to have a handsome masuline base to start with. Sorry, I just don't find any of the DO G8 males attractive at all except Edward (as Bond) who is in an older age range... There are tons of beautiful female characters in the market but I rarely see male characters that I find attractive. Those hot girls need hot guys! I'd be curious to see if Mousso could create males in the style of his/her(?) stunning women!
here ya go using facegen I added michael 4 face onto michael 8 hd
@ANGELREAPER1972, that looks great. I can't ever get a face that good
thanks. opens up a lot of options actually using facegen can reuse a lot of my old skins/characters on the newer bases plus can do profile side renders which is hard to find photos of usually make do with frontal pics only but when you have side renders to use as well it makes the differance
Is there a way to do this in Poser like in DAZ?If you are using Poser Pro, select the clothing item and conform to the figure. Then under Figure>Copy Morphs From, select the morphs wish to transfer to the clothing.
If you don't have Poser Pro, there is a utility at Renderosity called "Morphing Clothes" that does the same thing...Content Library vs Smart Content.I am still rather confused as to why I can find some stuff in the content library that I cannot find in the smart content library. I have done many things scan known directory, re-import metadata etc yet it remains in content where I have to search and dig for miles to find it and it ignores the smart content library entirely. Is there a way to transfer everything in content to smart content or is this just a thing that will persist through time and I have to deal with it?
