Transfer Utility Problem

I'm making a tear specifically for the G9.
I export G9 to Blender, make a tear, and then import the tear into Daz Studio. Initially it appears where it should be, but after Transfer Utility it moves above the headTransfer Utility ProblemThe tear OBJ needs to have been created in the proper location for G9 before using the Transfer Utility. I load obj file with a tear
Next, I am trying to use Transfer Utility to attach the teardrop
But after applying it Transfer Utility the teardrop is mounted in a completely different place.
With G3 and G8 everything works as it should, but with G9 I have this problem.
How can this be fixed?
ThanksDforce strand based hair, a way to solution?plilweep said:
yes but would have to be static, potentially with morphs instead of dforce simulation
they are no way to doing morph on strand too, no I will just sell a dynamic version with the hair cards, its realy easy conver strand to hair card with geometrie node on blender, and hair card respond really good to dynamics will its real gemoetrie
also I didn't give up completly for doing somthing on dforce strand based, if I had a so long simulation time yesterday is because daz had reste the setting to theyr default value wen I saved the file and relaod it, I give it a try again just quckly this morning, and the simulation time i down to less then 8 minutes what is resoneable I tink, of cours you cant render that directly they are no enougth hair and they still are artefac deformation in the hair but I alreay thougth about two mac gyver ways to resolve that,
I can export the result on blender convert as curves rebuild the hair with geometrie node, send back to daz and convert tube to line to make the render
or second otption ,export the result , iport it back, convert ribon to line(teslations is 2 so is ribon not tube I thinkà and after that duplicate the result two or three time , make a littel offset betwens the copies to have more lines , and render,
Of cours I could not sell that , to much mc gyver work, but for my own render I think I will try, perhaps I will found way to improve it , and if that work good I will make a tutorial on mt twitch chaon and post it on youtube
I already think abut making a quick tips and tricks about strand hair creation and export, I saw to many stupid or not efficient way of working in all the turorial I saw on youtbe, I mean people do theyr hair directly on hair caps in place to d it on the genesis figure
, what the point you dont even see the shoulders to set up nicely your hair for long hair, and dont have the intersection and colision detection, and that not most stupid thing I saw on hair creation on daz
Making Sliders/Dials for Clothes Morphs - How? (Am Total Eejit, Solved!)This PA, breeze, creates lovely movement morphs for their clothes (example here https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-brz-sailor-uniform-and-poses-for-genesis-9), is there some way to create sliders/dials from these? Meaning, I would love to be able to regulate how much of a certain morph to dial in. Is there an established workflow to do this?
Thanks for helping!(Edited for clarity)
Is there certain reason why daz shop doesn't use a category based on ethnicity?Years ago they had a set that was various morph shapes and that had so much vitriol directed at it. "She doesn't look French!!" "OMG, she doesn't look _______" and they sort of stopped even trying to direct things after that in my opinion.
Eden's Mouth FixCould I be on something special if its not working/showing for me?
grabbed the zip, dropped /data into my Daz Library folder. reloaded Studio, cant find the morph on Eden.
RiverSoft Bone minion and animationsI'm using Bone Minion 8 and 8.1 to 9.....I'm trying to get it to transfer entire animations for an 8 female to a 9 femal.
The initial pose transfers to the 9 from the 8-bone minion....then the minion continues on correctly while the 9 target character remains still.....
What did I Eff up.....?
Coming soon: Mesh Grabber 4.0 [Commercial]You an use Transfer utility to make a version of morphs, or even morph projection (use paarmeter Settings to make sure the morph you want to copy has Auto Follow on, fit the item without the morph to the item with, dial the morph in, and export the item without the morph as OBJ then load as a new morph).
Daz to Unity Bridge - Geograph morphs not porting to unityHello all,
I'm trying to port a Daz genesis 8 female figure with advanced p*ssy to unity with its morphs. However no matter what I try, there are issues. Firstly, when exporting to Unity, the geograph is parented to the base figure and moves along with it when the base figure is moved. This is good. When in unity however, the blenshapes that control the geograph are being ported with the figure and not with the geograph. So, when inspecting the base figure, the morph is there as a blendshape and does impact the geometry of the base figure, but does not impact the geometry of the geograph. When inspecting the geograph in unity, there are no blendshapes despite them being selected in the moprh export. Any ideas on what settings I may be missing or is this a known issue?
Paper and Writing ShadersGet yourself a caligraphy pen & you'll be well away creating your own text.. Can be as simple as a dip pen and a bottle of ink.
Remember, you don't have to show writing only in one colour, there are dozens of shades these days and inks can be sparkly or shimmer with incident light angle, just need to transfer that tho the 3D model. For inspiration on the range of colours look at the ink manufacture's web site for their fountain pen ink: https://www.diamineinks.co.uk/listings.aspx?catid=14 (no affiliation, just thought it'd be useful to look at)

Richard.

Here's an interesting question... if I shift vertices in, say, a shirt, and then save that out as a morph... is there a way to convert that into a morph that could also be applied onto a different shirt and have it adjust that part of the shirt the same as on the original shirt?
There are some products that project morphs to clothing from the figure. You can look at fit helper morphs from PAs like SickleYield etc. Those morphs are projected to clothing via autofollow i beleive so in that sense can be applied to all fitted garments.
But a morph made for a specific clothing will not work on another piece of clothing with different topology.

No, unless you do the same operation on the other shirt.

Thanks for using it, very original scene! How to squish body ? genesis 9Yes, in general, you can always tweak morph and/or gender as you wish no matter which product you use. Ultimate Natural Bend Morphs (UNBM) and Natural Movements Pack (NMP) are just packages of corrective morphs. They are just regarded as add-ons to G9's Base corrective morphs.
However, UNBM and NMP both have their pros and cons. UNBM was specifically designed for G9 Feminine while NMP is universal for both G9 Feminine and Musculine. It's easier to tweak with UNBM while it's a bit cumbersome to tweak with NMP because only some of its morphs are auto-dialed, most of its "detailed corrective morphs" have to be manually dialed. And the strength of % on some auto-dialed corrective morphs of NMP are not set really well, i.e. more or less over-corrective ~~
Besides, using the corrective morphs from UNBM plus NMP may bring you unexpect ugly results... So choosing one of them as per your need will be just fine.
