Victoria 3 and Michael 3 were free yesterday and two days ago. Only one of them could be selected. 

Clones are how autofit works, and that text appears on every other G8 figure's product page. Here it is on the more recent Babina's page, for example:

Victoria is not an advancement on G8F, just a character for it, as with every other core figure. There's nothing special about Victoria compared to other G8F core figures, nor, really, even to base G8F, apart from better textures.

Thanks for the Doorbuster head's up. Got the East Park Ward (great texture and one-click prop posing for the West Park Ward). Old but gold for hospital scenes!

Up with this, I will not put! Clone is not autofit! And Victoria 8 was obviously intended as an advancement to Genesis 8 Female.

It's not Victoria 8 but Genesis 8 that comes with the clones, and they're for autofitting clothing. Apply clothing for G8 male, or Genesis, G2 or G3, and the autofit dialogue will pop up.

Promo notes for Victoria 8 underline that backward compatibility: 

• Includes clones for Genesis, Genesis 2, and Genesis 3 content even between male and female figures

Would someone please be good enough to tell me how these clones can be accessed and applied?

Every Victory that I have is available. What about Victoria 8.1? Or Victoria 3, I don't really want her but I don't have her.

The PDF tutorial included in the product is very good, I believe, and the tool would have been useless to me without it. • MetaMixer does not mix male and female shapes, in spite of the demonstration video that Daz linked to and touted as "How it works". That is NOT how it works, because Daz made the female MetaMixer shape morphs only for the females and the male MetaMixer morphs only for the males.
• There is no explanation of what Morphing, Blending, and Sculpting do and how they differ. It would be helpful to see an explanation of how to achieve results using those tools. Even slowing the videos down to 25% speed on YouTube did not help much. There was no explanation of what was being done or why.

Anyway, I continue to bungle along and learn through experimentation. Don't give up!

@nabob21 - I used  for both Glamorous and Alluring the Victoria 7 Face 05 texture (I think it is 05) but I removed from it in Photoshop the brows, eye makeup and the entire lips, so I was left only with the skin texture with some blush. For the lips, I left the basic G8.1F material in place and just added red to the base and translucency color slots. Nothing special.

Next, I used the product "Materials Wizard" (available at the DAZ store) to add the eye makeup. If you decide to purchase this product, then the materials wizard is in the Contents Library under Scripts/RiverSoft Arts. You will also find its presets in the Contents Library/People/Genesis 8 Female/Materials subdirectory. I put eyeliner only on the top eyelid. I haven't seen women wearing eyeliner on the lower eyelid in the 1940s. Maybe it was done but very discreetly. I don't know. 

The eyelashes for both characters are from "Lashes Utilities". It has a ton of morphs under the Shaping tab to get you any look you want.

Brows are: for Alluring - Beautiful Brows II, Brow 11 and for Glamorous soft angled eyebrow 1 from Beautiful Eyebrows (not Beautiful Eyebrows II).

The body texture is the standard issue G8.1F texture set that loads with the basic character.

If you save a morph asset, it's added to your runtime so that it becomes available for every figure of the same gender/generation. That's how all of the morphs in the properties pane were created.

If you just want to save a morph for this particular file, you can just save as a scene or scene subset. It will keep both the morph and the property locally.

All Duf files are plaintext. You can open them in Notepad (as long as they're not compressed). If you save a shaping preset, it will just look for the morph name stored in the file and apply the associated value to it. So you can either save a shaping preset for a morph in your runtime or a morph saved locally--provided it exists inside the file.

I will try to explain to you so that you know what I want to do:

I acquired "New Gens For Victoria 8" which is compatible with Genesis 8, so I added the genital part to my genesis 8 figure (see picture 1) and then I made some adjustments to have the vagina that suits me. 

So there is a hole in the genesis 8 figure (see picture 2) 

I just want to save the morph of the vagina that I made with the help of preregulations in "morph asset" preferably to use this vaginal morph with other compatible miniatures...

For the vagina presets (see picture 3)

Slight necro, but this is for anyone who's wondering about porting Victoria 4 to Genesis 8 via using Gen X for the initial step. I think earlier in this thread I reported that it doesn't work. This was wrong, the porting works just fine, you just have to make sure your head morph is set right in the converter, as it's unlikely to be FHM :)
Also the secret to Vicky 4 characters looking right is to use the Legacy Victoria 4 shape (IIRC for Genesis 2) instead of the one with Gen X and use the corresponding Genesis 2 to 8 tool to port the one from the store here as a base. 

RS and SY's 3delight to Iray converter also usually does by far the best job on Vicky4 skins, though I've had to use other tools for a few individual mats.

After that there was no compatibility at all between the two lines of figures.

The Poser G2 line was during the V4/M4 days.

was there any items you could use for poser modles like material and clothing between there generations like daz3d, I have a bunch of poser content but never really got a hang of their naming or generations or what models where bases for other models.
