Yes, I'm still regretting not buying more 20% off gift cards, but after calculating what's in my cart today, it's far more cost-effective than previous promotions where I used gift cards for an average 92% off.

I already own nearly 50 of the 400 items today. Of course, the prices back then weren't much cheaper than they are now, but there are still many I haven't bought.

By the way, does anyone remember what the last day of last year's promotions were like?

In other news, I must have done something recently to make The Great & Powerful Oz...I mean...Algorithm happy! It looks like I will have just about the whole Reindeer bundle by tomorrow, with this week's $2.99 offerings. Sunday=Reindeer, Monday=Santa's Sleigh, today=Reindeer poses for Horse 3 & Sleigh. All I need is Reins & poses for Reindeer/Nikolai 9/Sleigh/Reins and am hoping 1 of them pops up tomorrow. Then, I can buy the bundle cheap for the Owned Item discount. So I am

I liked the idea of microbio, but the experience was so painful. I was taking an online asynch + lab, but the prof had decided that all she needed to do was upload the (unclear, poorly organized) Powerpoint slides she used for her regular class and tell you to learn what was on all 80+ of them with no recorded lecture and no additional notes. If you wanted a lecture or had issues, you were welcome to sit in on the regular classes. The book was like wading through dried concrete, so no help there. She did eventually acknowledge several students' protests that we had Adult Life conflicts with her regular classes, but it was with a "well, I don't know what to tell you if you don't want the accomodations I'm offering" attitude. Also, it was Jan - May 2020, so labs got cancelled and she had to figure out how to compensate for that on the fly. It was a mess, and extra points because English wasn't her first language. She was doing a lot better than I could in a second language, but still. 

She liked to tell students that if you'd scored well on the test, it was your responsibility to tutor your fellow students so they could keep up. Like, no, ma'am, it is YOUR job to teach the material. My responsibility is to my young kids and keeping my head above water in my other two classes, thanks. 

But I survived! And learned some interesting stuff. I just feel like I could've gotten a lot more out of it if there'd been quality instruction. And I felt so bad for the younger folk on their first time through college who thought that was all they could expect.

That's what it was! I couldn't recall the specifics, just that I'd had a "well, crud" moment over it. 

With the 1st being on a Thursday, I could see it being easy/expedient for them to have some sort of cumulative sale over the extended (Fri/Sat/Sun) weekend. 

Any way it goes, I'm definitely calling December a win. None of the bigger sales worked for me, but the value I got out of Nice List + Advent for my one daily small purchase was gratifying. (Plus of course the PA gifts! ...but those were a separate thing.)

Gonna miss my daily dopamine hit once this sale ends LOL.

I might. Because if they extend at least one day there is a chance of taking some advantage of it for the DO coupon when it renews. Tokens may last me a couple weeks, but in dazland you can easily get two weeks of very bad sales, even for DO; so when i see a decent stacking that do not requires other oupons i just use mine when i can.

Yes, I'm planning to pick up another 4 items out of Quick Grab before the turnover next Monday, so I will be buying them one at a time to keep the Punches going as long as they exist.

I probably won't decide about continuing punches until tomorrow. I will still have 3, since I am getting the paid Advent item today. (Hoping to get 4/5 of the Reindeer bundle this week, you know.)

I do think I will be done for a while after whatever New Year's Day deal Daz offers. I wasn't planning on getting anything in January except the biweekly freebies, unless Daz offers a new or older bundle I really want in the free Premier selection. In that case, I will consider buying a month of Premier for it.

So out of curiosity, who's planning on intentionally keeping their punches up tomorrow in case things are extended, vs. who's figuring this is the end of it and letting them lapse?

I've got enough QG's off my WL this week that I might as well. And I feel like last year I didn't (based on the abrupt end of the previous year's sale) and wished I had, 

Non-complaint:  Aye Admiral, thar be printing here!  Yay, my new printer has been moved into place, software'd up, firmware'd up, paper'd up, and has printed a virgin page.  Wheee...  My nephew was visiting from Ohio and stopped by to show off their 2 year old daughter.  We shared stories & cookies, and he helped me move the new printer into place, and the old printer into the new printer's box, ready for disposal.  Whew, that's finally done. 

Complaint:  Now to buy a new full set of ink when the limited supply of the ink that came with it gets used up. ($$$)

Well, the selection is massive, goes way past 2025 and is not shy to include popular items.

I resisted characters, clothes, i even resisted the big discounts from Thusrs to Sat. Yesterday, i could not resist any more, i'm in red. But if daz were to give us a GC sale i would gladly go a bit more into red today.

I see people talking about the 70%, 80%, 90% but didn't see that anyone noticed that the URL's OR the wording are incorrect.

All three, point to a smaller subset than what the URL says.
- The 100 points to a 50 list
- The 200 points to a 100 list
- The 400 points to a 200 list
And for testing, I added stuff from the 200 list since I qualify for it with a debut product (non BUNDLE). It did not drop in price. Therefore the title of "TOP 200" is incorrect.

IGNORE: The url says top 100 but it actually has 200 products within it. Just lazy coding.

for some reason, i wanted to make a new scene with daz studio until i saw that i cant load it. i tried loadin it again but- no? idk.

i checked in the install manager and i only see the lanuchable products folder with HEXAGON inside! no Daz 3d.

how am i supposed to get it back?? now i only have a trace of my products and my projects.

i have evidence:

I've been limping along with no funds. Oh yeah I realize the freebie offerings are partly influenced by my spending.

Ok. I figure I'll wait till the New Year and see what happens.

But the last few offerings for discounts are terrible in my estimation. I didn't want anything from the Best 200 of any category.

And it turns out my senior friends appreciate the cartoons I'm making with the Genesis 8 "senior" characters such as Mabel.

I'm also thinking about how future developments in DAZ Studio will push me out of the running.

The end of 3Delight doesn't bother me too much. I don't use it much any more.

But then there is the reality of my 6-year-old computer.

My nVidia 1650 (plus?!) with 6GB of memory will soon reach its limits. Or it will be deprecated (abandoned).

Eventually DAZ Studio 2025 (?) will arrive. Eventually I'll be left behind in the dust.

In the meantime, my 98 year old Dad is having more health problems. I need to prepare myself for that. I might be losing my Dad.

My guess it should have been under products used.

Thanks to all who responded.  I don't have the safety glass product, but I do have the others.  I just liked MMX's floor arrangements. Turns out I got tied up and missed the sale.  Better luck next year, I guess.  Have a blessed one.
