Thanks Fisty & Darc! Amazing Morphing Pumps & Boots G8F - more footwear like this please!
I'm down for some boots.. though using the knowledge gained from the pumps I will likely make 2 pairs, a flat pair that goes up to 1.5 inch and a high pair that starts at like 3 inches and goes down to 2ish and up to 4ish. The pumps start about 1 inch and go down and up, I had the most trouble with the flat and 4 inch morphs, and I never managed to get them to where I was 100% happy, I'm really picky about the shape of shoes. It's much like the issues encountered trying to morph a female mesh's chest into a male, the 1/4 inch morph had too many polygons in the heel and 4 inch had too few to really look perfect.
I was thinking about the design aspect of boots after I made my last post. I'm thinking that a pointed toe boot and a square toe boot could be two of the designs. I suppose that the toe could be designed to be morphable from square to pointed, so it'd be the same boot. But I'd imagine that setting up that morph would require a fair amount of trial and error, hence my suggestion of doing two designs, squared and pointed.
As for the top of the boot, I'm good with a squared off top, but if an 'angled back top' morph wasn't too hard to set up, that could make them even more interesting. That might be something that could be done more easily using cutout opacity instead though, by the end user, hence not necessitating an additional morph.
A laced up version also came to mind, but that's crossing into 'frills territory'. Plus there are so many different ways to do that. There's also the zipper question, but that can just be a seam on the side or back of the boot with a zipper pattern - i.e. not an 'unzippable morph' boot, But again, that may be crossing into frills territory.
Personally, though, I'd be good good with a basic pull-on boot with an adjustable heel. I have plenty of 'frilly' boots from other vendors..
To your musing about having two separate boots, a lower heeled and higher heeled version, I"m good with that. Plus, then people will see two different boots in the product description instead of one, so they will think that they are getting more boots with the purchase, even though they may just be just variations of the same boot.
I'll just be happy to have more 'mid-range' heel options. I have lots of flat heeled and high/stilletto heeled ladies' boots already, but say a 1- 1.5" heel? You'd think those would be a bit more common, but no...
Back to the pumps though. I'm not a fan of high heels in general, as I'm sure you are aware of from other threads, but I do really like how your pumps look with the higher heels as well as the other heels sizes. That 4" heel doesn't look bad at all, and then there's the shaping morphs you included on top of that that I didn't showcase in my OP. Again, because of the no frills design. I tend to mix and match outfits quite often, with a 'casual' look in mind, and yeah the 'no frills' approach lends itself quite nicely to casual.
To be clear, I don't mind high heels to a point, and I do use them when appropriate in my mind, but my product libraries are littered with high heeled shoes that I haven't used yet, and some of them I may never use. But that's what makes the pumps so amazing. I can pick the heel height that looks best on the fly, without having to swap between multiple shoes to see how the heel height plays into the outfit I've thrown together in the viewport.
In any case, I'm very much looking forward to the boots if you do them! Thanks again for the pumps!
Proper Anime EyesAre these the kind of anime eyes you're looking for?
https://www.daz3d.com/sakura-8
I think the product page lists morphs for anime eyes. You can apply them to other characters.
Unfortunately you have to use the whole Sakura head morph, not just the eyes. There are several Sakura eye morph adjustments, but they don't give you what you want.
Mollytabby's Art WorkshopI couldn't resist playing with Aave Nainen's wonderful freebie dForce Long T-Shirt that she so generously provided as a Holiday 2018 freebie. It takes shaders fabulously. Here I've used new All that Glitters Iray Shaders (recent new PC+ product) and it turned the t-shirt into a fabulous party dress.

I love this!
Haven't posted anything in a while and felt the need to do something creative and fun. I used DP Bestie for The Girl 8 and RareStone's Face Morph Collection for The Girl 8 as the starting point.
Setting up the render turned into something of a kitbashing session and the full list (or as much as I can remember!) is on my gallery page. The concrete deck and railings is the wonderful freebie Concrete Deck and Railing Prop by the3dwizard.
The render was fined tuned using Topaz Studio.
The addition of the cat really ties it all together. He is looking at them like, hey, I'm down here! Super cute!
Bra Morph..?Excellent breakdown. Thank you!
I'm sorry to take so long to get this post done, and I see the convo took a right turn toward other, if pertinent issues. But I worked too long and hard on these images to not share them now!

Okay. Here are some examples of what I call a "braless" breast shape, representing a small sample of the female characters I have in my runtime. I kept the samples to the G3/G8 generation..These example are rendered from the side, creating a profile of the shape. (Image links to the full-size image, in a new window/tab.)The whole point of wearing a bra, (pun unintended,) is to support the breast. Regardless of the braless shape, a well-fitting bra will result in a rounded shape. And any breast that is sagging will be lifted up. Here is a link to a Google image (photo) search of Victoria's Secret for "how a bra shapes the breast".
The base female shape of both G3 and G8 is modeled with a bra shape. Using the Breast Implants morph from their respective Body Morphs package, these renders show a reasonably realistic bra shape for average, small and large breasts. I've also included an additional front view using just the Breasts Small morph.
In the image above, 1 and 5 are the base female with no morphs applied; 2 and 7 have the Breast Implants morph dialed to -35%, the default lower limit of the morph; 3 and 8 dial the Breast Implants morph to 100%; and 4 uses the just the Breasts Small morph, to 100%. Although I didn't use the Breasts Cleavage morph, a well-fitting bra would also bring the large breasts of example 8 closer together, smoothing the sides somewhat.
Obviously, we can get the look of wearing a bra with these morphs, on the base figure. But I personally don't want all my female characters to look virtually identical from the neck down. I have hundreds of female characters, and I'd like to use their full shape morphs. I'd also like to have the option to change the breast shape for those times, (most of the time, for me,) when I want the figure to look like she's wearing a bra.
I would like to point out, Izabella 7 has a separate breast morph. The full shape morph loads all three morphs, Izabella 7 Head, Izabella 7 Body and Izabella 7 Breasts. Dialing down the Breasts morph changes her shape to look like she's wearing a bra. And this is exactly what those of us who want a "Bra Morph" are asking for, the ability to spin a dial and make the sexy braless shaped breasts into a more rounded shape.
Sexy Stewardess Outfit for Genesis 8 FemaleIf you want a less sexy Stewardess outfit, then all you'd need from a set like this would be the hat, the scarf, and, if it's included as a seperate prop, maybe a flight pin (https://www.daz3d.com/flight-crew-only-for-day-in-the-office-set-i has one) . Combine with about any contemporary blazer/kneelength skirt or blazer/pantsuit outfit, and match the textures.
Though, for short skirts and dresses, you can always check whether there's at least a shorten morph. Sometimes, unlocking the parameters and setting such a morph negative works. No idea how to make your own morphs, otherwise I'd advise that. Though I know it is possible to create morphs for personal use. (they won't be distributable though, afaik, only the original creator can do that)
Problem with uv setsHi
I am trying to package a set for the Daz Studio. I have not packaged any geometry before.
I am getting this error message:
The directory 'C:/ProductTesting/People/Genesis 8 Female/Clothing/lululee/G3-G8-Babs/IRAY/BA-Geometry/Babs-ShoulderGaurds.duf//data/lululee/Babs/Babs-ShoulderGaurds/UV%20Sets/lululee/Base/' does not exist!
I saved the the Shoulder gaurds as "Support Asset" "figure/propsAssets" also "morph assets"
I also originally save it as uv assets. When I got that notice that they did not exist I deleted the uv assets and resaved the above above assets without the uv assets.
I did not at any point save any uv templates as I have no clue if I need to.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am totally befuddled at this point.

Please ID this G8 model?I was about to ask the same question about Neftis's latest promo :)
I REALLY wish all character and product images were fully attributed; even if to say "Custom morph/character". That's all it has to say really, those three words.
I posted a rant about this a while ago ... store pages at DAZ (NOT the products themselves, the pages about them) used to have attribution, clay renders, info about UV's, etc. Nowadays, you really have to buy sort of sight unseen and hope to return. But, maybe I'm screaming at the kids to get off the lawn :)

All clothing morphs installed in My Library/data folder don't show up or work at all. Please help! The data folder holds the asset files used by the content and is not meant to be visible to the user. If you remove it from Content and place it back in My Library then the morphs will load with the clothing, though if they are matching morphs on the base figure they will probably be hidden in the property lists as they are applied automatically - you can turn on Show Hidden properties in the Parameter pane's option menu, the lined button in the top corner or right-click the tab.
Thanks for the response! I'm a bit of a newbie so forgive my dumb (possibly nonsensical) questions -
How are the morphs applied automatically if there's multiple choices for each piece of clothing you can supposedly choose between? For instance, I've put the data back in the my library folder from content but I can't find any of the morph presets for said clothing, despite them being listed as a key feature of the product. Do I still have to morph them myself or find them somehwere else?
If the morphs are matching a shape for the base figure (e.g. Victoria 8) then they will apply to the clothes without any action on your part when you aply the Victoria 8 shape to the Genesis 8 Female wearing the clothes. The same is true for shapes that match shapes from the morph packs. other morphs, such as adjustments or perhaps morphs for the base figure that you don't hae installed, will appear in the parameters or Shaping panes when you have the clothing item selected in the scene.
™ NOTHING Wooork (Argh)No, you need the pro Bundle for the character from Daz itself - e.g. https://www.daz3d.com/michael-8-pro-bundle for the Genesis 8 Male set or https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-8-pro-bundle for Genesis 8 Female . For the pre-Genesis figures Michael 4's anatomical elements are in the Body Morphs, Victoria 4 doesn't have any (just a genital crease morph in the Body Morphs set). I'm not sur what you mean by the $50 license - the Interactive License is required if you are making a game (or other software) that needs to include actual 3D data, not just 2D renders (still images or animations).
How do i use the Dflatable Donkey? You have to put it on the side, and perhaps use the DForce pin system that's in the store, or maybe primitives... but even then, the image's pose could just be a morph done in zBrush. The product is an April's fools Joke, after all.
You could also check out the dForce thread and ask there if they have any ideas... https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/208141/how-to-use-dforce-creating-a-blanket-draping-clothes-on-furniture-and-much-more-commercial#latest
Thanks! that was it-Placing on its side on a floor
Edited to fix quote

Morphing clothes and wotnotClothes Hanging Morph appears to be a morph that flattens G3F so when clothes are put on her they will follow the figure's morph and become flattened
LuxusCore Carraraas soon as i can get it composited and uploaded (its just a camera move from syntheyes) i'm running a new to me workstation through its paces
So you used Syntheyes to capture the camera move from a video recording ... how did you transfer it to Carrara?
Morphing clothes and wotnotAppendage; the software item is called "Cothes Hanging Morph" :)
Morphing clothes and wotnotHi Cris, thanks for the prompt reply.
I want to take say, a standard dress, or shirt from the clothing list in Studio content and be able to make it look as if it's lifted, dropped or crumpled on the floor. I can sort of do it in Photoshop with the "Liquify" tool but it's not the same and only in 2D. The software I bought from ShareCG doesn't include any objects, it's supposed to morph clothing already installed in Studio.
I hope that's enough to explain...?
I would be happy to buy any plug-in for DS that will do that.
Malc
Morphing clothes and wotnotWhat do you mean by morphing a wrinkle? I'm not entirely sure what you are wanting to do in order to tell you if a morph will do it. What is the name of the item you got at sharecg?
Morphing clothes and wotnotHi team, I've been trying to find a way to morph or "wrinkle" clothes in DS. I've looked around the forum but nothing jumps out at me as to a clear cut solution. Messed around with Blender but exporting an item as obj. and importing in to Blender loses all texture/colour and can't get it back again. Frustrating.
Anyway, I digress. the point of my post is this; I found and bought a plug in that was supposed to do the trick from ShareCG. Problem is I don't know where to install the unzipped package, so I posed the question on their forum.
Ahem!
"I have been searching for a plug-in for DAZ3D to morph clothing and have just downloaded Clothes Hanging Morph. Now, I have unzipped it but where do I locate it in DAZ3D? The ReadMe.txt file doesn't explain that"
Now I'm not complaining in any way, I realise people are busy and may not have experience of the software. But having been read 92 times, I have no replies.
Ergo, I am here again, relying on my clever-dickie colleagues. Any ideas?

Headshop 11 QuestionsHeadShop 11 comes with 3D hair models, and you can place them in the Headshop 11 software. But when I export only the head of my Genesis 8 character changes, and there is no site of the hair. If I setup Hair, and accesories in head shop, it would be nice to see it all transfer to Daz, once Headshop 11 closes. I love working with 3D, but the price of 3D hair is rediculous.
I wish some one would make a software just to generate 3D hair. For gaming. Like Marvelous Designer is for clothing. Export as obj, so I can create hair styles for Character Creator 3. Generating Beards, moutash body hair would be nice as well.
yeah i second this. hair generation is a nightmare. i only got zbrush but the fibermesh is kinda challenging to use. using hair cards and i dont know how to texture the hair. maybe i lack practice. i wish someone can make a headshop or facegen version for hair into 3d hair mesh than can be used with genesis models. my purchased hair from daz store is but less than 15. i wish i have more hair too but its a bit pricey. and we can't morph hair into another hair like we can morph genesis body and faces.
Things I notice about most characters and not sure if it's just me...Oh boy, do I ever agree with the "breasts too large" part. LOL. It stumps me too, because it's much easier to make them larger than it is to make them smaller *shrug*.
LOL, to funny on the breast size. I feel every figure is to small, must be a guy thing.
I've always thought that this is the reason to get morphs, that characters were just starting points with good skins then you make them more unique /individual ........
Then why even include a morph in the first place. In all honesty, I would be fine with no body morph for all character addons (at a cheaper price), but then again as evidenced here in the forums, many don't own any morph packs or even know how to turn a dial to change any part of a figure.
