backstory: I like to watch my cricket and footy ( NRL ) so I stream using KAYO here in Australia. I looked into yearly subs to get it cheaper and the only way to get KAYO yearly was through an AFL club which I don't follow at all..
However, as membership and 12 months subscription to Collingwood Club was cheaper by a long way than monthly KAYO subscription I joined the Collingwood Football Club ( in a different state to me ) as my grandson lives in Victoria and follows the Magpies ( Collingwood ) so I just send all the membership perks that come with it to him and I enjoy watching my cricket and NRL to my hearts content on KAYO.
So I got a surprise the other day when Collingwood Marketing rang me and asked how I was enjoying the Magpies season so far ( unbeknown to me they are on top of the table ) .... ummm... yeah.....

Genesis 2 Appreciation ThreadThanks so much @mding & @richardandtracy (you really make V3 look like, "Victoria 9 who?!")

@Martinjfrost have you seen in the Ultrascatter Pro thread that Ultrascatter Pro under certain conditions crashes Daz Studio?
I am aware that there are crashes sometimes,. but these have been quite well tested and should be ok, as with everything to do with scattered objects, its always best to use the fewest possible instancees that helps avoid freeze ups and crashes.
The issue is that importing Victoria 4.2, and possibly other ExP figues, crashes DS if Ultra Scatter 2 is installed. This has been posted to the US 2 thread.
Good to know as general info, this product wont be affected by that (unless you do import v2 ) as it has no relation ship to those things.
I guess the hope was that you would make sure Howie was aware of the issue, since it is with the plug-in not content like yours.

Genesis 2 Appreciation Thread@richardandtracy: That is an incredible V3 Render!! It really shows the unused potential we have considering our old assets!
If I look at the Outlet Store, the https://www.daz3d.com/ranger-bundle-for-genesis-2-female-s seems to me especially useful, as it includes many assets, and also, if you don't own it yet, the https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle for 1$ (several characters require the two morph packs included).
Then DAZ Core Characters:
https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-6
https://www.daz3d.com/michael-6
https://www.daz3d.com/minotaur-6-hd-for-genesis-2-male-s with the https://www.daz3d.com/minotaur-6-hd-premiere-add-on-bundle
If you already own https://www.daz3d.com/reptilian-6-hd-for-genesis-2-male-s then there is the https://www.daz3d.com/reptilian-6-hd-premiere-add-on-bundle for 1$.
The rest depends on what you are looking for / what you like,
Genesis 2 Appreciation ThreadThere is this

oh and this ( I forgot )
UltraScatter2 - Now in store! On my MacMini M4 I have installed both the Millennium SubDragon, Millennium Dragon, and Millennium Dragon 2.0, but when I click on the SubDragon a window pops up 'The "SubDragon" support folder could not be found.' And then a window with PowerLoader : Import is there. The window is blank. Millennium Dragon crashes DAZ when you try to load. Millennium Dragon 2 is stable and loads. I do have UltraScatter2 Plugin. I do not have Victoria 4.2, Michael 4 or the The Kids 4 installed. Did not want to deal with the files.
Victoria 4 crashes Daz StudioI did not install Victoria 4.2 or Michael 4 on my new machines because of the massive number of files that need metadata, but with this issue, is it still possible for someone who wants to use the characters to move them up to Genesis or Genesis 2 with GenX? I am not sure, but I thought I had read GenX was not working any longer? But if you uninstalled your plugin long enough to load the character and move her up to a newer model, could you then reinstall the plug-in and use both at the same time?
How to automatically dial a clothing body morph when it's not named as intended ?Yeah, I could reproduce the issue. I wonder if the vendor wanted the user to manually dial the morph... but that seems to be wrong.
It's easy to fix as below:
- Locate the Victoria 9 Body.dsf, rename it to Victoria9_body_bs_Body.dsf.
- Open it with Notepad++. Ctrl + A. Go to menu: Plugins > MIME Tools > URL Decode...
- Ctrl + H to Replace All: Victoria 9 Body with Victoria9_body_bs_Body. Ctrl + S to Save.Then reload the skirt on G9, it'll work.
How to automatically dial a clothing body morph when it's not named as intended ?Hello,
According to the store description, 'dForce Hot Caribbean Nights for Genesis 9' has Victoria 9 among the supported shapes:
https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-hot-caribbean-nights-for-genesis-9
But when I'm loading it on Victoria 9, the body morph used is an auto-generated one (as shown by me being the author and the absence of the file path field):

Studying the situation a bit further, there is indeed a 'Victoria 9 Body' morph, but the file is name 'Victoria 9 Body.dsf':
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/110736/file_list
On the clothes themselves, it's appear as a visible morph and when dialing 'Victoria9_body_bs_Body' (which is what Daz Studio is looking for if I'm understand how things work) down to zero and Victoria 9 Body up to 100%, everything seems to fit perfectly:

Is there a solution to solve the problem (outside of having to fill a ticket, which I'm planning to do later) and to get the morph created by Sveva to be used automatically by Daz Studio when fitting these clothing items on Victoria 9?
Victoria 4 crashes Daz StudioUsing 4.24 without Power loader this is what I get in the log

UltraScatter2 - Now in store!Yes, Victoria 4.2 in a saved scene doesn't seem to be an issue, it is just loading the Poser fromat version (at a quick test). I don't have M4 or the SubDragon installed to see if it affects any ExP figure, but I would not be surprised (on the other hand, it could be dForms - in which case Victoria would be the only one).

Sorry to bump this with bad news, but Ultra Scatter 2 seems to crash DS when loading Victoria 4.2. The figure appears to load OK, then the application crashes after a few moments. I tried a few other Poser-format items, props and figures, without issue - Victoria 4 is going through Power Loader, I don't know if that might be an issue (perhaps relating to the ability to load new morphs in place). Edit: disabling Power Loader and the V4.2 .dsb loader script didn't help.
Are you saying that just having UltraScatter2 plugin installed causes the crash when loading Victoria 4.2? Would disabling the plugin while using Victoria 4.2 be a workaround?
To disable/reenable a plug-in you have to restart DS after making the change in Help>About Installed plug-ins. I didn't test to see if V4.2 would load from a saved scene with the plug-in enabled - let me try.

I liked the look of her. But isn't she just a bustier version of Victoria 9?
Keeping my fingers crossed for a Kenji 9...?... Yuzuru 9... ? ... Lilith 9?... Please?
I hope we get a Lilith 9 soon.
Victoria 4 crashes Daz StudioI just loaded Victoria 4.2 into Daz Studio 4.24.0.3 Public Build with no problems.
Victoria 4 crashes Daz StudioI only load Victoria 4 seldomly. Might be a good while since last.
But I wanted to try something and loaded her. And either when she was almost loaded or up to 5-10 seconds after loading (visible in viewport), Daz Studio crsahed to a crash window.
I tried to reinstall Victoria 4.2 Base, but that didn't change anything.
The DS log just showed a normal load.
And the crash happended in both latest 4.24 and latest 4.24 public build.
Looking at the cload log (from the crash report), there was a number of "Could not adjust thumbnail path from support path: /Runtime/Support/DAZ_3D_" but my guess is it is because I don't log into Daz Studio.
It is not an emergency to be able to load V4, but I wonder if it could be something worse.
Anyone who has any suggestions, or should I just make a ticket?
Show us your Daz AI Studio ImagesThese are wonderful! Here are some good ones I did back in May. I lost some files on a different hard drive after formatting C:, so I don't have the prompts any more. So sad your partner got greedy and stopped providing the AI. Could you consider putting an AI on your local machine and training it on your data? There are plenty on GitHub and I've downloaded several. AI tells me how and writes code, but my higher-end machine isn't enough to run an image generator yet, though there is a version of Stable Diffusion that connects online with daily tokens. I've been having AI write code for me because I never learned programming except Access 2003, and I've been away from that for quite a few years. It writes Python or Javascript and I test. So far I've had good results with trying to embed many science fiction story metadata in ChromaDB, a vector database. I started with AnythingLLM which requires no code and is great for beginners. Now, I'm trying to learn LangChain. Fun stuff!
Anyone know of an AI project like DAZ that gets permission to train on its artwork? Right now I'm in GIMP massively altering some cartoons I generated with CoPilot in my drawing style, so I won't infringe on the poor artist's rights before I make my video for YouTube.
Meanwhile, I found these in Amazon Photos so the quality isn't as good as original. Hope you enjoy them. BTW, you can't copyright AI-generated art if you don't alter it, so have fun with these. They are public domain [US Copyright Law]. Enjoy!
Series 1 I tried to get the girl pulling a full hand truck up the stairs but got these. The picture I Frankensteined together in GIMP from old photos and the file boxes in the last one is on this blog post https://www.tumblr.com/danniswrites/775584343217373184/deadly-job-136-file-boxes-by-myself?source=share I do love the stair pictures I got! And Victoria is awesome, if only the AI knew what a hand truck looks like. It's hard to find pictures on the Web, too, because they come in many different kinds. Sorry to send you to my blog but I can't find the final photo.
Series 2 is Victoria and Michael in a train station. These came out great!
