Vicky 4 DAZ Morph Injection Not Working
What do you mean exactly by "they won't work"? The morph dials don't become active in the prameters tab?
I would like to know if I can undo the button on jeans. They are 6 open morphs on the jeans, looking like this (default G8F in her default pose with the jeans using FitOverShort morph at 100% because I used the short part of the product too)
Default (with the shortest setting for them, but they will look exactly the same with the other length: it's the same object):

Open 1

Open 2

Open 3

Open 4

Open 5

Open 6

If you want to have the short under the jean, with some open morphs, setting the short as the Mesh Smoothing target of the jeans instead of Genesis 8 will fix most pokethrough but in the most extrem case (Open 6), dialing Adjust-Hip to something like 20% added some improvment (you'll likely have to adjust the value depending on the pose you'll use: here I only used the Genesis 8 base pose):

Filatoon looks promising. But how can I move character's floating eyes? It seems floating eyes always focus camera or perspective view. I am not sure if it is optical illusion as someone suggested because renders showed her eyes looking back at the view. If I can't move her eyes, this is a deal breaker for making visual stories with Filatoon.
First post :)
Q: The eyes create an optical illusion of always looking at the viewer
A: If you load a Toon figure and zero out the anime morph to get the default Genesis and that happens, you can use Toon Iris Depth Left and Right to fix it :)Thanks for your answer but your method seems to fix the iris on center of the eye. How can I move the iris to left/right or up/down after fixing it?
The same way you usually move the eyes on regular Genesis 9.
Vicky 4 DAZ Morph Injection Not WorkingLali-ho! i still use Vicky 4 and noticed after the last 2 updates that my morph injections for DAZ are not working. The character morphs still work and powerloader will install the morphs, but the individual and full morph injections and for G4, A4, elite, Creature and S4 won't work. Having to add the morphs via a fresh vicky load just to add fangs or claws is a bit much. Anyone know anything?
Who can figure out what is wrong with Lanah Hair? (Temp Solution Here)Part 3: Morphs Again
By now, I've got the Vandals' "Disproportioned Head" playing on repeat in my own head. Oh well. Let's continue...
The same thing can be said for Fabrice. Making his head the size of a Dodger Doll using the 'proportional head morph' is okay, but SY's 'head size' and the 'proportional neck morph' cause the same issue we had with Akki.
It's worth noting that the 'proportional torso' adjust also causes the same issue, with the figure growing taller, the scalp coming along for the ride, and the strands of hair remaining in place.
Who can figure out what is wrong with Lanah Hair? (Temp Solution Here)Part 2: Morphs
Some unexpected results here with Akki.
On the left is the standard auto-fit.
Second up is the head expanded using the 'proportional head size' morph. Here, the scalp and hair both seem to scale appropriately.
Third, we have the head expanded using SickleYield's 'head size' morph. Here, a common problem appears- the scalp adjusting along with the morph, but the hair remaining in place.
Fourth is the same problem, experienced here using the 'proportional neck length' morph.
Who can figure out what is wrong with Lanah Hair? (Temp Solution Here)I spent some time playing around with Lanah Hair today. I'm a bit hampered by the fact that I don't have many Gen 9 morphs, figures, or hairs, but I gave it my best shot.
Part 1: Auto Fit
I tried fitting Lanah Hair to some of the non-standard Daz figures I own. These include (L to R, below) Akki, Nancy, Fabrice, and Emmy. It didn't seem to matter if I loaded the hair directly onto the character, or if I loaded the base Gen9 and then dialed in the character morph.
The hair fit well on Akki and Nancy. It fit mostly well on Fabrice, except that the cap didn't scale to the head. I forgot to try adjusting it manually (boo, me). For Emmy there was a gap between scalp hair and dForce hair.
I suspect these two are caused by Fabrice's head being a little bigger than average, and Emmy's head being smaller.

Based on my trials, there is no way to move floating iris as the name implies. The only way to move it is loading non-floating eyes and having them shaded with Filatoon. But not all g9 eyes are properly shaded with Filatoon..
You can select the Left Eye and or Right Eye in the character itself under the Head bone, and adjust the Up-Down and Side-Side. You can also use the Pose Controls. There is no magic.

Need to hook up a blink morphPls check the short tutorial I did for another folk, for how to split one corrective morph into two: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/8906471/#Comment_8906471
and the following posts after that ~~ for setting up two stages controllers in Property Hierarchy.

Newest Mesh Grabber save QuestionModifier Asset replaces and subsumes Morph Asset.
Need to hook up a blink morphYou can export it twice, make one a favourite, seelct the vertices including one lid, right-click>Morph Editing>Remove Selected Deltas from favourites, then invert the selection, favourite the other, and repeat.
Newest Mesh Grabber save QuestionI really like the new Mesh grabber in Premier but I have a question about saving. When I click the save button after making modifications, the dial appears in parameters but if I close Daz studio and then re-open, the new parameter/morph is gone. It 's not a persistent save. Since there is no loger a save as support asset/morph, I'm curios about how to get the newly created morphs to be persistent across several session of Studio without it having to be a saved scene where the morph has been newly creatd.
Thanks for any help,
Jeff

I guess I will probably be sticking with 4.21 that I have now and know it works, and probably doesn't have any DRM malware built in. Better guard the installer with my life I guess, will have to go in the moat next to my copy of photoshop pre cloud [stuff] lol.
Connect has been prsent in DS for many years and versions, and that is what is used for the content. I don't know about the plug-in toggle, but I think there was stuff in the chnage log relating to plug-in activation around the time they added the face Transfer tool (which can be used to Save only three times). Nothing is being taken away, just new tools (or new versions of older PA tools, which still work) added.

I want to make a bird person, the wings part is easy, what I'm looking for are taloned bird like legs
Krow's legs by Raw art is a good start https://www.daz3d.com/krow-for-genesis-81-male
The question there would be if I can use the legs alone on a genesis 8.1 male without the upper body and head?
Or maybe there are morph packs (preferrably genesis 3 to 8.1 male or female) that include that option?
thanks for the help in advance!
I think both Raw's Krow that you linked and Raw's Harpy have legs that can be applied separately based on the description. (I haven't tested them out).
oh the harpy is even better, that's a good find, thanks a lot

Premier Membership FAQ (Questions Only Please)I opened DIM today showing an order date of 23 Apr 2016 and found 4 files each for:
Premiere - dForce Manager for DAZ Studio 4.23+ (Win 64-bit) and Private Build +BETA and Public Build +BETA+ and Publishing Build +BETA+
Premiere - Geometry Sculpture for DAZ Studio 4.23+ (Win 64-bit) and Private Build +BETA and Public Build +BETA+ and Publishing Build +BETA+
Premiere - Pose Converter for DAZ Studio 4.23+ (Win 64-bit) and Private Build +BETA and Public Build +BETA+ and Publishing Build +BETA+
Premiere - Render Queue for DAZ Studio 4.23+ (Win 64-bit) and Private Build +BETA and Public Build +BETA+ and Publishing Build +BETA+
Premiere - Shape Transfer for DAZ Studio 4.23+ (Win 64-bit) and Private Build +BETA and Public Build +BETA+ and Publishing Build +BETA+
While I have updated to D|S 4.23.0.1 and 4.23.0.4 on my computers (except the MacBook Pro M1) I did not change my DAZ+ membership to Premiere. So why do I have these available downloads? My current DAZ+ membership is good till Sept 2025.
And for what is worth, I do own the plug-ins except Render Queue as I found I couldn't use it on my machines. I was planning to buy Mesh Grabber 4 though to update my current version.
So, what are these for and what is the impact on my versions of Daz Studio if I either install or do not install?
Mary
(I just realized that 'order date' was when I first joined Daz.)
Need to hook up a blink morphNeed to hook up a blink morph.
I created an Asian head morph and need to remember how to properly hook up a blink morph to get the new eye shape to look right. I created the blink morph in ZBrush and it's only ONE morph so I know there needs to be a way to split that morph for each eye as well as hook up the full on blink.
HELP?
Thank you
Richard
