You do know that you don't have to use poses for Stephanie? For instance, Victoria 5 (called "generation 5") can use Genesis poses, etc. There may be a few minor tweaks needed, but poses usually work well within the generations. (Victoria 4, Michael 4, Freak 4, etc are all "generation 4" figures. Obviously the more extreme the pose, the better it works on the figure it's designed for, but on a walking pose like this one, there are many, many sets with similar poses to this.

The shapes don't have "user facing" files - files that appear in the content panes. they should, however, cause the morphs to be added to Genesis figure when you load it in. If they aren't then it sounds as if the installation didn't work. Did you install manually or with the DAZ Install Manager?

If they are textures for a model you don't have then no, they won't do anything. To use texture expansions you generally need to load the thing they apply to, have it selected, and then double-click the file to apply the textures - in the Pose or Material libraries under Poser Formats in the Content Library pane in this case, I would think.

This is a little confusing - does one question refer to the Michael 4 and Victoria 4 shapes for Genesis? In any event, more information is required - are the things not showing on the figure, or are they not showing in the content pane (and if the latter, are you looking at Smart Content or the Content Library)?

It's not really needed either, you should be able to copy the settings from a real Michael 4 to G2M with the M4 UVs, then save an MC6. As I said, all you need is a preset to set the UVs in the first place - I think the product includes a PoserCF for that. DAZ Studio has two timelines, animate and its own timeline. You need to transfer your keyframes to DAZ Studio timeline by right clicking on the animate timeline and select "Bake frames to DAZ Studio timeline". After that's done DAZ dynamics can read your keyframes and you can run your simulation.

Enabling IK, scaling the clothes or parenting to the hip are steps you don't need to do, just make sure that your clothes are "fit to" Michael 4 in the parameters tab.

Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male will work in Poser, but you would still need a .duf preset to set the M4 UV Set.

Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male http://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files/#prod_17664 will allow you to apply M4 textures to G2M (as long as the materials are supplied as, or saved by you as, .duf files).

Alternatively if you have Michael 5 you can apply the materials to Genesis and then use the Map Transfer function of DS to convert them to Michael 5, which can then be applied to G2M.
