Daz to Blender: Imported morph shows as low poly
When trying to import a model with a morph to blender, the morph itself becomes significantly less smooth when I apply it in blender as compared to Daz. It looks like how it shows before you apply the morph in Daz3D as you're moving the slider. Can anyone point me to a fix? Thanks in advance! I'm using a G8 model, if that helps.

Yes, except as i mentioned above, there is batch export of obj from Blender, and batch import ob obj into Daz by dragging and dropping and spamming enter. So neither of those steps take much time.
I tried those batch export. None function 100% as expected.
Like for example, No uv map.
most of them are out of date.
I even tried a paid one in Blendermarket, but still have similar problem.
So importing obj to daz by drop and drag works, but if the exported files has no uv map, it becomes a problem.
Okay but did you try this?

Any tutorial to learn how to export to Max 2022 in obj format and then import again to make morphs?

Character "Daiji HD for Genesis 8.1 Male" purchased, installed but not appearsIf you right-click on the eyebrows and "Explore Product" does the figure show up in there at all? Sometimes the search is a little odd and does not return all the results you think it should.
If the figure is not part of the product and you installed it using DIM then what is shown when you right click the product in DIM and "Show Installed Files"? They should all be links for the files and none should be greyed out.
If you switch from Smart Content to the Content tab and go to /People/Genesis 8 Male/Characters/ does Daiji appear there? I don't have that product myself so not sure on the state of the metadata but the figure duf should be in that location if it was installed correctly.

What a torture....How to export my house model from Blender to DAZ?the best option if you own it is to use Poser and save as a prop pp2
there was even a multiple obj import python script but sady it's gone along with PhilC who created it
and only works up to Poser 11
as for one mesh in studio
I split stuff with the geometry editor and edit convert prop to figure
or use surface names if they match the separate meshes
I create child bones and select them (tool settings open with the bone selected)
and rightclick select the corresponding bits with the geometry editor and fill with weightmapping brush selected 100%
deselect all select next bit and matching bone rinse repeat
Hexagon is still the better choice as it splits the meshes and sends them split over the bridge
How to export my house model from Blender to DAZ?I am fairly sure it varies from PA to PA.
But an overall workflow would be something like:
A) Model in a modeller
B) Create textures
C) Import the model (Figure setup if it is a figure)
D) Add textures inside DS (there might be scripts, that can help you in that process, i.e. match texture type to channels)
Ad textures, you should be aware that they have to be added from the Runtime folder, in order to follow the proper DS structure, so even if you could import an object with textures, these would need to be saved in Runtime and reapplied.
how to remove files from Genesis 8 baseHi, I did clear the cache and looked in Notepad+ for the file "/data/lululee/Product/001-BA-F-Belt-01/001-Ba-F-Belt-01.dsf"
I could not find it and clearing the cache did nothing different. Still missing files.
I did find this in the log. I just putting in the part where the files show up. If you want more of the log file let me know.

Needing help properly importing G9 to ZBrush then importing it back to Daz 3D. Hi I hope everyone’s doing well. I am having a hard time importing G9 to ZBrush without it being an issue. What I do is, I’ll remove the lashes and everything and it’ll successfully import into ZBrush, but when it is time to put it back into Daz 3-D, so I can edit it, it basically shows up with a blue font explaining that something went wrong when I try to load it in the Morph section. (Please help me import by using the Morph slider, not ZBrush GoZ please. Sorry)
I’ve never had this issue when it came to importing G8, but I had my G8 file sent from a friend years ago. & this friend doesn’t use Daz anymore so she has no clue how to important g9. Would really mean a lot if someone could help me in the most simplest way possible. Thanks!
How to export my house model from Blender to DAZ?FBX and beta DAZ can do the job.
To import seperate objects.
BUt it becomes unorganized again.
:(
How to export my house model from Blender to DAZ?you can import multiple meshes in obj form into Hexagon then use the DAZ studio bridge
Installation of my prop - making a hole to clear it?Got it figured with the Create-a-Room pack. Complicated, tedious but it works. Get the wall ALL done with textures, etc. and position the safe. Export it as OBJ file. Import to Blender. (Best with a plain wall, but this will work adjacent to a door or window - just a tighter fit. Take the wall into edit mode, subdivide it, then slide the new edges in place under the faces of the safe. Delete the center face (best do to front and back at the same time if you use Create-A-Room). Make sure there's no poke-through. Export the wall and import back into Daz. The texturing and stuff from the Daz resource will be broken, but the wall will have a hole for the safe. Image is Blender showing the wall division lines. Second is with safe in place - no poke-through.
As I said, tedious, and it requires knowledge of Blender, but it WILL work. Sort of. The benefit of doing it this way is that the baseboards and mouldings and such stay with the wall, so it fits back in. Just don't resize it. Now to get it rigged. So - once it's all done, I'll post a 'how to' with it as well.
Then on to the next project. Gun safe? Walk-in wall safe? Old style round oak table (with leaves) and a set of chairs? Triple dressing mirror? Parts of a 'assemble what you need' closet-size wardrobe (7 types of components)?

The reason why CS asks if the issue can still be reproduced, is because Daz Studio most likely had an update or 2 since the original bug report was filed (especially Public Beta releases). They can't due to time constraints, check each time when there is a new release which may have fixed the issue. There have been cases where you have reported issues, which have been fixed a few versions later.
I had three different tickets which received this response within 12 hours of initially opening the ticket last month, so there's something else going on in addition to this.
To me, this seems to be their "cut and paste" response to push all the work back onto the customer. It feels like they just want to make it so hard for us to get help, that we will give up and go away. I fear that even if I spend all my time to retest and respond, it will probably be months before they look at it again. I will probably get the same response from them again. Eventually it will go to the bug tracker, where it well never be heard from again. Then they will close the ticket and mark it solved after a couple years, without doing anything at all to fix it. That pretty much describes my CS experience lately.
CS has really alienated me and soured me on Daz 3D, the company. I continue to like Daz Studio and appreciate the developer efforts to update it, and the PAs that create interesting products. I hate the terribly complex store sales with offers that don't work until hours later and ads with typos, ambiguity, and misinformation. Now the influx of Renderosity items with poor promo images, no readme file, unreliable required items lists, and no metadata has started to really sour me on the whole Daz store experience. All these store issues compound the customer service problems, because they increase the volume of tickets that would not be necessary if Daz prepared and tested products thoroughly before putting them in the store. Quality is way down in my personal purchasing experience.
I'm in a bitchy mode today, because of all of these compounding problems that just keep growing. Can you tell?I think the point is that there is a backlog of tickets, so they need to make sure they are still issues (and the reporter is still active) in order to concentrate their efforts where they will be of most benefit to the end users.

Is there a batch import to DAZ too?How to export my house model from Blender to DAZ?There is a batch export method for obj for Blender. You might need to google the steps.
after export, drag and drop all exported objs into Daz Studio, and they should import in place.
You will likely have to set up or tweak surfaces manually. There is no Blender -> Daz Bridge.
obj .mtl library is flawed at assigning maps and values to Uber Shader.
