Question: products formerly in the outlet store can't don't work with the 09_25PREMIER coupon
Answer: That's correct! Products that were formerly in our outlet store typically can't be used with coupons like the 09_25PREMIER coupon.
Our outlet store has a policy that states "Unless otherwise specified, no discounts, coupons, tokens, or other deals may be applied to Outlet Items." This restriction generally applies to items even after they've moved out of the outlet store.
This is an intentional limitation to maintain the special pricing structure of outlet items and former outlet items.
That doesn't sound like a reasonable policy to me. Basically it implies that former outlet store items will forever have a high price.

The 'Eat Your Food and Like It' Complaint Thread"For our creative 3D projects, we offer powerful modeling and rendering capabilities through Daz Studio, Hexagon, and Carrara."
Victoria forgot Bryce ... (I do have Studio, Hexagon and Carrara - and also Bryce).
The 'Eat Your Food and Like It' Complaint ThreadSo, earlier this morning whilst perusing the forums on my iPad, I accidentally touched a strange hieroglyph that opened up a magical text box to a wonderous new entity by the name of "Victoria"... being that we both share the same root name (Victor), I figured this Victoria must be a truly wonderful being... after all if popular culture is any indicator, anyone named Victor is either a mad scientist or a Russian mobster... Right there before me was the future of internetdom... so with my curiosity piqued and my expectations in a small Tupperware container, I proceeded to engage with the well trained (presumably meaning she doesn't bite people or mess carpets) "Victoria" and her promises of assistance or something like that...
This is my short, but enlightening experience with the future of forumdom and question asking...

I'm not entirely disappointed, because as I mentioned earlier, my expectations were well contained within a Tupperware container made of late 60s polyethylene, which we all know was designed to survive a nuclear holocaust... so my expectations remained unharmed (but they did smell like old Lasgna)... (remember to throughly check that the dishwasher has done a reasonable job cleaning your Tupperware before placing your expectations inside)... I guess I should have tried asking Victoria about electrovisual simulations of three dimensional objects within the confines of a software based environment or something like that, but I was giddy with the prospect of the future of question asking and virtual beings that can assist us in our every query and postulation.
But alas... my enthusiasm was quickly dissipated much like the enthusiasm of two overly friendly canines on the front lawn engaged in activities not approved for general audiences who are subject to the cold water from the hose of a disapproving spectator.
Anyway... I have no idea how long that hieroglyph has been there of if perhaps everyone on the forums has been replaced by AI representations of forum users and this was all an AI hallucination, because I'm now an algorithmic representation of some weirdo who dresses hamsters up in period costumes to have them reenact famous historical battles from Ancient Greece (the WW2 maritime battles got too expensive with the increase in the price of steel... you'd be surprised at how expensive a hamster scale aircraft carrier can be... and forget about the carrier based aircraft... hamsters are terrible pilots and crash them continuously... they are almost as bad as chihuahuas at flying)...
Anyway, anyway... I guess I have stuff to do and you all probably have virtual representations of forum user stuff to do too, so I should probably end this rambling post with an appropriate closing salutation...
Buh-bye peeps.
Can somebody identify this character? That is Victoria 9: https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-9-hd
The main promo uses her vitiligo variant and in the images you linked she's wearing makeup so her freckles are covered.
Alternativ UV map for G9 female anatomical elementsfelis said:
There has been some fuss about a Genesis 9 attachment, that shall not be named...
First the geograft was expected to be in the Victoria 9 bundle, but showed up in the product Character Essentials. When that was solved, there were discussions about corresponding textures for the provided base skins. It was said to be added, but later that Daz had no such plans, as it apparently not was suitable for minors.
At some point in time there will emerge third party products to fill that gap.
But I thought, that I might be able to refit the UV layout to match the body surface, and with some fiddling around I got a result, and it looked fine to me. For obvious reasons I can't show the result.
But I have attached the refitted UV map, that must be properly placed in a content library.Process for use:
1) Load your G9F and skin material
2) Attach the geograft
3) Change the shader of the geograft to SkinPBR (was at least needed for me)
4) Copy the Body surface to the geograft
5) Change the UV for the geograft to 'G9_f_gens_body_UV'For the female it is fairly straight forward to change the UV to match the body texture, for the male not so much, as there is more visible material to be covered. I might try if I can find a way that seems feasible.
I don't know if you're still around but just wanted to say thank you for this amazing trick, it's the only thing that works with the default anatomical elements as far as I know.
Converting V4 clothes to G8I tried the tips below and the outcome is bad...
Leana said:
You need to install a V4 clone for G8F to autofit V4 clothes to G8F directly, only clones from Genesis 1 and up are included in G8F base.
V4 clone:
https://www.daz3d.com/sy-victoria-4-and-michael-4-clones-for-genesis-8
There's also this batch converter:
https://www.daz3d.com/rssy-clothing-converter-from-victoria-4-to-genesis-8-female
Another option is to convert in two steps: first autofit from V4 to Genesis 1, save the G1 version of the clothes, then autofit the G1 version to G8F.
Sleepless In . . .well Safari was useless
maybe I should have asked the Victoria chatbot here

fragrent dress (we cross posted) sounds odd
chatbot? not clicked to find outMy prompt:
Please request Daz for a change to the chatbot so that the widget must be enabled via checkbox in the settings in order to appear.
Victoria:
I understand you'd like the chatbot widget to be optional through a settings checkbox. This is actually a feature request that has been discussed in our community forums.
One of our forum members made a similar product improvement request, specifically asking for the chatbot to be "off by default on mobile devices and so it may be turned on by a setting if the user wants it," noting that it takes up considerable screen space on mobile.
To submit your feature request directly to our development team, I'd recommend posting it in the Product Suggestions section of our forums where our team actively reviews community feedback for potential improvements.
...so slightly different answer/solution than what the previous commenter got.
chatbot? not clicked to find outVictoria the chatbot has now made a ticket to look into my 5 month old unanswered ticket to sales. Not holding my breath, will let you know if I get any kind of response or resolution with artificial intervention.
Bring back Victoria + Michael 1.0 and 2.0I'm pretty sure I once had V2, though my product library disagrees. I understand your desire to have the set, but I don't think it's something you can complete legitimately. Can I suggest you have a good read of the V2/3 thread here as I fear that's the closest you're likely to get to V2. I have made a few developments with V3 towards the end of that thread as I really like Jim Burton's Glamorous Vickie 3 and want to keep her as relevant as possible in a G9 world - not easy with a character dating to 2002. Regards, Richard.Bring back Victoria + Michael 1.0 and 2.0
Well at least my search will continue. I'll probably keep an eye out for poser content discs from Zygote/DAZ and hopefully find them twoWendyLuvsCatz said:believe me, I would help you if I could

(just to make it clear I don't share warez, I used to suggest Mimic Lite when it was available for Victoria 1)

Bring back Victoria + Michael 1.0 and 2.0
I already have those in my cart, and unfortunately I'm not satisfied with having just M3/V3 I'd like to actually be able to have a look at Daz's history hands on + make a render of all 9 generations of Victoria and MichaelWendyLuvsCatz said:you can still get V3 and M3, are in Outlet Store too,
think of V1,2 and M1,2 as less versatile versions of those with terrible UV mapping you would be hard pressed to find any textures for
(1&2 are the same mesh BTW minus morphs) any clothes out there can be fitted to V3 and M3 using a shape included with them too

Bring back Victoria + Michael 1.0 and 2.0Now I know these are basically twenty year old models. But look: Millennium Man and Millennium Woman are both considered lost media at this point since they were taken out of circulation. You literally cannot find anything on them or archives for them (I'd rather obtain them through legitimate means anyways).
For Pete's sake there's really no documentation for them on the Daz wiki.
I genuinely think it'd be a good idea that Daz rerelease these models as legacy items so that they can have a chance at getting preserved + archived since they are, quite literally, a part of Daz's history. And maybe they'll have proper documentation if they're recirculated as legacy items
Don't you think they should do that?
chatbot? not clicked to find outThe chatbot seems to be very limited in what it can provide for answers.
I asked it what version of iray render engine where available in what versions of Studio and all it could really tell me was to find the changelogs and look it up myself.
Not really all that helpful.
I asked it questions about how it's trained and if it can update it's information to the most current and it basically told me that no it can't. It's most up to date information is for Studio version 4.22.
So, until it's data set includes current versions it really won't be all that useful for anything a user would be doing in a current version.
I asked it what it's limitations were and it told me it can't provide things like materials preset, poses, and things like that. Anything considered as "content"
I didn't ask it more mundane questions like "how to install Studio" or "How do I install content".
So I don't know how it performs on tasks such as these.
Here's it reply to my query of it limitations
keep in mind it also told me it's most current available data set is for Studio 4.22
"Perfect! Here's a clear summary of my limitations so you can craft effective questions:
What I Can Help With:
• Daz 3D software guidance (Daz Studio, workflows, features)
• Product information and usage instructions
• Troubleshooting software issues (installations, settings, rendering)
• Historical version information (though may not include latest releases)
• General how-to guidance for Daz processes
Key Limitations:
• No Content Creation - I can't generate actual files, materials, poses, or downloadable content
• No Account Access - Can't view your personal information, orders, or make account changes
• No Actions - Can't perform operations, updates, or changes on your behalf
• Hardware Safety - Won't suggest anything that could damage your equipment
• Knowledge Currency - My information may not include the very latest releases (like current 4.24 beta details)
• No Third-Party Support - Limited help with non-Daz applications or brokered plugins
My Role: I provide informational guidance to help you understand how to do things yourself, but I can't actually do them for you.
This should help you frame questions around "how do I..." rather than "can you create..." or "please do this for me."

Not only AI Search, but AI Support (the black dingbat that's now in the lower right corner of the screen, at least on full-size monitors). Victoria herself wants to help! (And, if I'm reading it correctly, if Victoria the AI Chatbot can't help, there may actually be a live person that she transfers you to, which seems odd, given that Daz turned off phone support ages ago.)
It will open a ticket for you. The hope is that it will be able to reduce the number of things that go through to a ticket, so that response times for those can improve.

This will be Victoria 10. Obviously newer, better and more highly featured than any previous Victoria to date. To see her (as opposed to talking to her), you're going to need a load of accessories AND the full version of DS6. Regards, Richard
