Just a shot in the dark here, but would installing new content/putting new files in while daz3d studio was still running possibly cause the issue?  I have been installing content after content, closing daz3d studio when i go into the installer each time and so far no problems.  Previously, I sometimes would install stuff while studio was still running.  Also, before I reinstalled everything, I was having no problems until I loaded a particular character into a scene, after which when I loaded other characters that previously had no issues, they would have their morphs distorted.  My gen 8 renders are currently looking exactly like yours, though before I reinstalled stuff, the lips were definitely different, as were the eyes.

If you installed that character and right after that your base G8F got corrupted, then it's safe to say that character's morph may not have been saved correctly. Deleting or not reinstalling it should suffice. Do you recall which character that was?

Also, installing stuff while running studio shouldn't cause the problem you're having, unless what you're installing hadn't been saved properly.

The iRay server documentation should specify what port(s) have to be open.

Doesn't say anything else about other ports. The only possible port I have found was 30300 which is for the cache. I opened that port too, but still, I get the error that "Cannot reach server to create snapshots'

I just bought a perpetual licence for MD as I just loved it during the trial period.

I drape studio items in all three programs (yes it was me who said they're just tools).

You can load props in MD as avatars and have a simple scale change (say on a chair) to catch the skirt/top/etc.

The posted image (with the clothes a WIP - collar and cuffs to do). I had two obj an A-Pose and the Pose I wanted; loading them as morph targets is really simple.

I did export the A pose and other pose(s) from Studio, but now do from Blender; sometimes clothes wouldn't align up when exporting from Studio. Genesis 3 female Ry-Jeane (default female) textures on G8 with Aiko 3 Head and partial body; the skin materials are my own. The hair is Kool Blythe hair converted in blender to strands; I'm using a beta of Diffemorphic as the Hair conversion has been fixed. It can take some time to convert.

Ack!  Somehow this testing changed the default load-out for G3F.  Now every character I open comes with Taurette dialed in.

I am having this same problem, except they will open dialed in to whatever character I last converted.

Any fix for this?

I never heard back from @thistledownsname.  I do not have Taurette.  My guess is that converting Taurette creates a generically named morph that is pulled in.  I would check what morphs were created when converting Taurette and try deleting them ALL first (to see if it is truly something that happened because of using the character converter) and then moving them back in one-by-one to find the problem morph.

Hello, I created a character in Modeler equipped with endomorphs and skelegons. I take it into Layout and convert skelegons into bones. I then open up morph mixer to apply my endomorphs to my character. The morphs work as I manipulate the sliders, however I do notice that the bones do NOT move along with the morphs. So when the endomorphs are applied, it exposes the bones because they are not moving along with the endomorph. How do I resolve this? I am using LW2020 on a Mac running High Sierra.

I have to admit this made me laugh out loud. I take your point that showing the female skin texture on a male figure would be away around the "no nudity" rule since topless males are not classified as being nude, whereas topless females are. However, dosen't this just highlight how ludicrous the rule is? Perhaps also how ludicrous the attitude of society is on this subject. IMO it would be much more sensible for DAZ to simply block topless and nude images (of both male and female characters, so as not to be sexist) to all below the age of consent. For many people this would be extremely useful in deciding whether or not to buy a product with a particular skin texture instead of having to guess and then go through the process of asking for a refund if the product is not what was desired. Isn't it about time we behaved like adults?

Postwork: used the AltaLux Image Enhancement Filter (Effect) by Stefano Tommesani that comes with Irfanview and some filters (oa) that come with GIMP.

The artist is Morris (the PA who created Daisy 8's textures). In the description, she says "This is a 1/2D8 and 1/2V8 morph", so 1/2 Daisy 8 and 1/2 Victoria 8.

That "1/2D8 and 1/2V8" part really confused the heck out of me at first. I thought it was some fancy 3d term I'd not encountered before; God knows there's enough of them! Then I realized what it actually stood for /facepalm

The Glute control will not load with the G8F figure and gives an error:

"An error occurred while reading the file, see the log file for more details"

There is an exclamation mark in the thumbnail library.

I have installed the product via the internal DAZ Smart Content tab.

All other Zev0 morph packs install and work as advertised.
