Just a note, so as not to leave it hanging - Connect is working for me (that is, installing through Daz Studio - Daz Central is affected and I typed the wrong name earlier so it may be that the other report meant Central).

I have the same problem! Tried DAZ Central, DIM and manual, but nothing works. I'm pretty much sure it's something on the DAZ side.
Hope they will fix it soon.

The Kent Hair download fails via DIM, and if I try to download the .zip manually I get "expired auth token" - I don't use Daz Central at all. Thanks for any help!

Have you killed Daz Central from the Activity Monitor and then tried a restart? 

I'm assuming you have an older version of Daz Central? In that the latest one won't run on Macs at all (at least with the latest macOS).    Can you temporarily uninstall it?  That's quite harsh though that it would block a restart.   That is definitely not normal.   Have you reached out to Daz support team?

My Mac is due for an upgrade, however when I go to restart, Daz Central prevents the restart. I cannot get the upgrades unless the computer can restart to install them. I have tried quitting both Daz Studio and Daz Central and yet it still prevents the restart and shutdowns. 

Any suggestions?

Because you deleted them, presumably - the /data/cloud/ folder is used by Daz Connect for products it isntalls - by the sound of it you had a Connect instalaltion and that was the root of the issue. For this trick to work I would think you need to use Install Manager or another non-DS method; for now find the Genesis 8 Starter essentials product in DS, right-click on its cotnainer, adn choose Uninstall - if there is a DIM, Daz Central, or manual install that should now work and the trick for loading expressions should also work.

Of coruse you will also need to reinstate any other products that were installed through Connect (no circled triangle icon on the product thumbnail) to get that content to work.

Both applications use separate manifest files to track whjat they have isntalled, and uninstalling the installer doesn't remove current cotnent. I think that you deleted the manifests while clearing up, so the applications no longer have a record of having installed the content initially - and when they do a fersh install they will see that the files are already present and assume that they are used by something else, so they will make a note not to uninstall them if you then uninstall the products (in the InstallManagerFileRegister.json file in the root of the content directory). It would have been better to uninstall through the DIM/Daz Central - it would also be a good diea to use soemthing other than the C: drive for content if possible.

Hi. When recently loading a large asset into DAZ from Daz Central, my computer's C drive memory was exhaausted though i thought I'd cleared enough space. I stopped the download, emptied more space and then resumed. The asset did not completely load. I then uninstalled DAZ and DIM and reinstalled, believing that items would be uninstalled whiich would clear memory and I could selectively reinmstall the assets I needed. The assets were uninstalled in DAZ and show as ready to download in DIM but remain in the C Drive. Reinstalling reduces memory. I still have a nearly full C Drive with only a fraction of my DAZ assets installed. 3rd party content backed up in storage loaded fine.

I'd rather use DIM. That one I know how to set it up and let it rip from the last time I had to download everything (Ugh). Daz Central (whatever) just seems... pretty without much going for it. I don't want to manually download things when I go on buying sprees either. 

You can use DIM, it's still available and still works.

Note that the products that are working have a triangle in a broken circle icon at top-right, while the ones that are missing at least their thumbnail don't. The icon means that the item is isntalled through an external tool, its absence means installed through Daz Studio itself. The first thing I would try, if you are not aware of having done that, is right-click on those items and select Uninstall (so that DS no longer shows them as installed through Daz Studio). If a DIM/Daz central/manual install isn't then showing it's probably a pathing issue - DS doesn't know the folder that is being installed to.
