I'm very impressed with the rapid progression of the development. I've been manually transferring controls for Daz figures for years and this has been a god send. I'm still trying to figure out how to transfer hand morphs as a standard group in the bridge. Finger controls are important so if you've already got them please let us know how to access them. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
P.S. I love the updated Morph Controller Group setup. Any future plans for a Visual Selector for the IK Controls?
+1, very nice to see it being given some attention. Still a long, long ways to go but it's getting there slowly and surely.
morphsNo - and yes. You couldn't sell the complete shape, including the contribution from Bugaboo, but if you use the reverse deformations option in Morph Loader Pro you can separate out your chnages from the base morph(s) applied, and those you could sell (with Bugaboo as a required product to get the correct final look). Just be aware that having required products in this way inevitable restricts your potential market.

Otherwise, there are lots of make-up options which are LIE so take a long time to load. I would prefer it if the make-up could be used with any skin but in this case, as soon as you use the reset to try a different style, it re-loads the Gou Luk skin.
I then tried the clothes and, at first glance, it looks like the clothes are only meant to fit this character. I loaded the pants to a base G8F and they were distorted around the waist with significant poke through even with mesh smoothing. Increasing the smoothing distorts the waistband even more. As I'm not interested in using the character shape, again this is not going to be something I can use. So I think I will reclaim my disk space and uninstall.
My experience differs. Firstly, removing the LIEs is as simple as hitting "undo" so that doesn't bother me. Secondly, I don't see what you mean about the waist. I get zero poke-through when loading on a G8 base (it comes with smoothing turned on). Turning off the smoothing exposes a tiny chip of poke-through that is well within normal parameters and can easily be adjusted through the supplied morphs if you want to turn off the smoothing. Lastly, the hair alone is worth 1.99 and the extra accessories etc. makes it a slam dunk. Your mileage may vary.
My apologies - I have just loaded the pants again and could not repeat the initial experience. I might have had some morph dialed in but I am pretty sure I didn't. However, I had been trying many different things on that same G8F base figure so something must have gone out of whack. Just to confirm - I dialled-in some character morphs and the pants conformed to the shapes so I can't get that deformation to re-appear.
As for LIE - I am always a little wary of using CTRL-Z because DAZ Studio tends to have memory issues and I am not sure that CTRL-Z clears the previously loaded memory allocation. Probably my unfounded doubts but if there is a reset script I tend to opt for that.
I suspect not using cntrl-Z would cause memory issues, not the other way round. By applying the reset, then the original setting is kept in memory, since in theory you could hit cntrl-Z later.

I had the exact same critique of dForce Classic Long Hair: It's perfect in every other way, but it has too much volume.
I ended up exporting it to Blender at base resolution as OBJ, fixed everything with Proportional Editing, and imported it back as a morph.
Or maybe you could use the Geometry Editor tool to delete some entire surfaces to decrease the volume. If I recall, Linday's Classic Curly seems intentionally set up to facilitate that, so maybe Classic Long is, as well.
Thanks. I'll need to move to "confirmed newbie" status to be able to do that. Yet I'm just an "Absolute Beginner" !
Product that you can use a Gen 8 Male morph on Female?Genesis 1 has the same base figure for both genders.
In general, morphs are actually lists, where DS is being told "Move vertice number 350 0,1mm in X-direction, 0,2mm in Y-direction and -0.1mm in Z-direction.
The number of vertices in the morph has to match the number (and order) of the vertices on the figure that is being morphed, otherwise the morph won't work. How to fix hairRichard Haseltine said:
How did you make the hair? Was it made for the base figure? Have you rigged the hair?
1. I imported the hair OBJ and used DAZ's Transfer Utility function. The hair then has the skeleton of G8FM and then I save the hair.
2. Save As >>>Support Asset >>>Figure/Prop Assets
3. When using the saved hair on other characters, there are questions.

This may happen if the character isn't selected when you applied the clothing, so it doesn't autofit.
Maybe so. One of my really bad habits is to load clothing parented to other clothing (shoes parented to pants, for example) because I forget to go back and select the figure. Might have been something like that.

So I just purchased a new Alienware Aurora R12 which will with all good fortune help me render and use Genesis 8.1
For those living in California, please take note, they now have energy restrictions to shipping some of the new GPUS without certain modifications. Weirdly, I was denied buying the machine I wanted initially because of the GPU, however, there is a section for modified computers, which meet the energy requirements.
At any rate, I am backing up my data now, in preparation for the transfer. I probably will do a clean install, but with thousands of items, that will take a while.
What graphics card will CA let you get? I'd never heard of that restriction before. CA is crazy!
Gou LukAs far as not-skinny morphs, I just got a fair amount of poke-through in the butt and back of the thighs when loading them on Latonya. But I managed to fix it with the included adjustment dials. Same with the voluptuous morph.
edit: Same with heavy.

Want to load 8.1 without "all" of 8's morphs? minitutMost people want access to their full morph library. The main adjustment people have been maming has been to enable the loading of the Genesis 8 expressions. it is, however, useful to have the route to the opposite described for those who will find it useful.
What do you think about FG Marvelous Designer to Daz Studio Video Tutorial?Um, i dont think you need to buy tutorials to learn how to use MD - you can find those for free on youtube. Hundreds of them.
Looking at the contents of the tutorial, it is a tutorial on using MD, not on content creation for Daz.
You will find a million free tutorials for MD on the internet. But what you wont find and what you need to buy is a tutorial on bringing MD content to Daz for for the purpose of content creation. The esha content creation tutorials are probably best for that...
The fact that FG tutorial just says
- convert to a conforming figure
- simple weight map adjustment
This makes me think it doesnt cover lots of aspects of transfer utility, weight map adjustments, and pJCMs, which the esha content creation tutorial covers.
Daz Bridge Support Is Here!so guys, my issue is that when i use BRIDGE To transfer from daz STUDIO to C4D the only thing that imports is the IK rigs, not the physical model. I unistalled DAZ Central, Studio, and Bridge again and again. and i dont know what the update did.
Want to load 8.1 without "all" of 8's morphs? minitutI guess my sillly question is why doesn't the DAZ guru's not have an option in 8.1 to load or unload the 8.0 morph if this is a known loading issue?
They are aware of this, right?

Hi, I seem to be missing something here, could someone tell me where everyone is getting the Darth Talon morph/character texture?
I know your question was answered, but for anyone else who wants to know too, they can check out the artist's DA page here - https://www.deviantart.com/lazygunns - and they will find the needed links on the promo pages

Hi all, it's me again with a question on hair.
I've searched a lot of hair (and spent consequently) and I can't find something close to this : the main feature is that the hair are very flat and parted.
One can say that there is the DForce Classic Long Hair but too me there is too much volume on top and sides.
Thanks a lot in advance for your suggestions :-)
If you slightly increase the gravity before simulating, you'll get much less volume. You can also dial up the thickness morph before simulating (which consequently makes it less voluminous).
