Study this video, except instead of creating new geometry as they do, remember to only move the geometry that already exists on the Genesis mesh. If you add or delete vertices, you can't use it as a morph. For that reason, also remember to always check "Keep Vertex Order" on both import and export.
Thank you for sharing this, maybe today I have learned something more. Have a beautiful day.

My pleasure, glad to hear you got it working! Thanks for purchasing our products :)kiloechonov3337 said:FenixPhoenix said:
2. This is how the burn was designed, however, if you wanted to push it, you could always break the limits of the morph and dial in a higher percentage. To do that:
- Navigate to the parameters tab (window > pane > parameters) and locate the morph you want to accentuate.
- In the upper corner of the dial (above the percentage) you'll see a small gear icon. Click on it > Parameter Settings...
- That will open up a window, wherein you'll see "Use Limits" with a checkmark. Click on the box to get rid of the checkmark and that will disable the limits.
- Or, you can also increase the "Max" percentage from 100 to maybe 150-160% and hit accept.
- Now you'll be able to dial in the morph at a bigger amount. Just keep in mind that dialing it too much may result in skin pokethrough.
Notice in this promo example how I broke the limit of the ear morph to dial the burn up to 150%:
Ah. I see. I forgot about the HD morphs needing subdiv 4. Thanks! Got the effect to work nicely!

Quesstion about the leaves. If the tree is made smaller do the leaves scale down propotionally? And can the leaves scale independently from the tree? Leaf size as well as shape is very important for "realism".
You have a choice of leaf size textures as well as a Leaf Size morph (for the Hi Res Tree only) to change the leaves.

Plugin exporting all facial morphs causing long Maya import times (30+ minutes)I have so much content that it takes a very long time (about 35 minutes on my decently fast laptop) to import a single figure into Maya with the plugin because there are hundreds of facial expressions that the Daz to Maya Bridge plugin force-exports from Daz Studio causing Maya to have to extract and create blendshapes for each and every one causing the long import time. Can you possibly make it where it uses the last-used morph export rules from Daz Studio's fbx exporter so these can be more easily controlled with .csv morph lists? This would also help for general morph export customization in addition to fixing the forced expression exports.
Quck question about "Sweet Denim Outfit Set for Genesis 8 Female(s) by Pretty3D"My way of doing it.
Load the socks and export them as obj.
Import them in blender. Delete 1 sock, and apply mirror modifier. Export as obj.
Import into DS. Transfer rigging to G8F. And then copy materials from the original socks.

is that cybersuit actual geometry or a geoshell and HD morph?
It is geometry. I got excited for a hot minute because I found I could turn off the thong "panty" in the surfaces tab. Unfortunately, the panty seams aren't independent of other seams in the outfit. So, if I decide to remove the thong it will have to be with the Geometry Editor or maybe masking. On the plus side, it does have quite a few clothing morphs along with a lot of material zones. I also found that if one has this set of shaders https://www.daz3d.com/ultrueviolet-light-and-glowing-shaders-for-daz-studio the blue lighting effect matches the blue cyber material preset. I haven't tried any of the other light colors but I suspect these would work for the other color presets. Oh yeah, boots are it two sections...foot area "boots"; leg "legs". I kind of missed that when I read through the details but it's all good since it gives even more kit bash possibilites. :)
EDIT: This is the list of adjustments for outfit pieces and material zones for just the suit portion to give you an idea adjustments and zones. Material zones in other pieces of outfit are similar to the ones for the suit portion.
The Terracotta ArmyWhen I lived in China, I made a trip to Xi'An to see the real thing (among other cool stuff in Xi'An) - This set looks great (and as each terracotta warrior has a unique face in the real version, it's great that we can morph Genesis 8.1 to have unique warriors).
I need a good snake head morph for G8F and will pay anything to get one"Anything"
In this place, thou art brave or um, will stick with brave. How broke would you like to become? I'd like a brand new hefty computer with RTX 3090 and all the bells and whistles lol [that's over 5 grand for anybody doing the math] ... and would also require the purchase price for said Lamia so the matching could be done lol ...
Seriously though, I don't think, esp. with Hexagon, that such a head morph for G8F is possible. One could put a snake head on her as a geograft and hide her head.
If I were you wanting such a figure, RawArt would be my PA of choice to contact. He might be able to pull that off.
Future of Hexagon?Saxa -- SD said:
Hexagon works really well. Super impressed with it and how it manages delta changes with DS via bridge.
That said, one big wish I would have for a future version is overhauled memory management for the sculpting functions.
Inflate & Smooth for example. If i do too much, my 64GB ram PC system starts to choke (Win7x64Pro). Like majorly. Have Undo set to 4.
One session really pushed it and had to do a hard reboot (did manage to save new morph). That was fun. Lost my internet from that hard reboot on gasping computer. Took a while to figure out how to reset that unprecedented error from a hard reboot.
Good news, it's not that your computer is choking, that's Hexagon coughing. Setting the undo number a good deal higher actually helps its stability. {like around 10 or at least} BUT save frequently, and incre-save often. If you're using the regular release Hexagon {not the beta}, there's a utility that can be run to tell the 32 programs you select that they're on a 64 system so use more of the available memory.
Too much inflate or smooth ... yes Hexagon will react. Avoid surface seams if you can. It's possible to select some faces, then select one of those brushes and only the selected area will be rearranged.
For the Genesis figures, before bringing them in, collapse uvsets and "no" textures [they take up precious memory in Hexagon]. Also a plain 3Delight shader applied first helps too. Hexagon was made before Iray was ever in D/S.
If working on a complicated model, every now and then export out an .obj file as backup ;-)

Here is Catty head at 50% with other morphs and her body dialed out. This is the best PBR 8.1 skin I've seen so far. Much better than V8.1!
Wow!!! What a great head morph. She looks beautiful and interesting. I really have to get Catty now.
Skunk girl/skunkette for genesis 8 female anyone????richardandtracy said:
There is no native G8F one I can find. The one in the store here: https://www.daz3d.com/furries-furs-skunk-and-squirrels is for a morph of A3. Which means it is possible to apply a similar morph to G8F, but not easy. You will need GenX2 and its A3 add-on, plus the G3F add-on, and then a convertor to G8F such as the RiverSoftArt one. It may be cheaper, instead, to commission someone like TritiumCG to do you a morph similar to the skunk & you do the texture yourself. TritiumCG has done a freebie A3 lookalike morph for G8F, so it's not a totally wild idea.
Sorry I can't help further.
Regards,
Richard.
That product is not for A3. Melody has a different head and different head UVs no conversion products sold will work.

Not a problem, thank you for confirming so quickly. I'll issue an update right away. Glad we managed to fix this so quickly and I apologize for the inconvenience the corruption caused!
PS: I've sent you a Private Message. :)

Is it possible that there is a botched version on some server, do you get the very same file if downloading in the US and on the other side of the globe?
That is no corruption, but someone manually editing files and possibly inserting code to a wrong file... Except that part is referring to both products...
Not sure, but something must have indeed happened at some point during the process to submit the file. The thing is, the morph wasn't even kicking in, so it would've been apparent during testing that it wasn't working. But the whole process happened so long ago, it would be anyone's guess what happened or how. Hopefully the fix works, though.

Thank you for the answer, FenixPhoenix! But this is where it gets really weird. I just deleted, downloaded and re-installed HD Face Staples and Stitches for Genesis 8 Females with DIM - Millawa head morph still not working properly. Then I decided to download it right from my product library - got the .zip file, unpacked it and just looked at FSSF S04 without installing it. And yep, FHMMillawa8 is still there. I don't know what to think of it. One thing for sure - with HD Face Staples and Stitches installed I can't use Millawa head morph :'(
Oh, hold on, let me take another look because we were looking at different paths (this last screenshot will be helpful). Will check this with Esid and let you know what we find.
