DAZ Studio 4.8 does not show up in my product library. WHY? DAZ Studio 3.1.xx, DAZ Studio 4.5.xx does, 4.6 and 4.8 not

As far as I know, it doesn`t show up in everyones product library.

It has been removed because the new version Daz Studio 4.9 is the one to use.frown

I think it's wrong to remove it, thankfully I keep a backup of all downloads.

  • The product name doesn't necessarily change - you are still using the same license as the earlier 4.x version. Your 3.x license, however, is separate.

I have a back up, too but I really don`t like it that 4.8 is removed, we the costumers should have the option to go back if we want and if DAZ does not support 4.8 anymore, well it is our thing to handle this but we still should have the option to go back and that means we should have the option to download it.

The only option you have (if you don`t have a Backup) is go back to 4.5 - as long as it stays in your product library.

I have the download zips from the dim downloads and also installers of DAZ 4.8  as backup more then once hope this is enough.

It's also bad if you upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit and do not want to use 4.9.
