Dynamic Cardinal Cloak Question

Does anyone know if the issues with the Dynamic Cardinal Cloak were ever fixed? There were some serious issues with draping the cloak, .obj swapping, and textures not loading correctly, and seemingly little or no response from Optitex or DAZ about fixing those issues.
At the time, I ended up requesting a refund since i couldn't use the cloak, but it's on sale today and I really like the design, I'm very tempted to get it again.

If so, then one of three items in my wish list I'm contemplating.
That's the one, I'm debating getting it, but I don't know if the issues it had were ever fixed.

You couldn't even get it to drape on V4, and the textures wouldn't load correctly.
So, does anyone know if the Cardinal Cloak was updated/fixed?
I have a nagging suspicion it may have been ... I think I own it,but I'm 'out and about' at the moment, let me see if I can install it and try it out ...

Ok, yes - I do have it, so downloaded and installed, about to try it .. this will be DS 4.8, by the way.

Nope, texture applicaion is still SNAFU (reminding me of the issue with the medieval fantasy cloak (for freak/m4) I think it was, which I raised a report about years ago and nothing ever happened with).
A quick drape (animated) of a simpel V4 walk pose looks to be ok.

Well, went ahead and bought the cloak, and it still has the same issues. I'm honestly surprised DAZ and/or Optitex haven't tried to fix this product, especially given it's normal $25 price tag.
