i13 Greek Arena

Maybe it's just because the release of the current characters, Leo, Gia or Olympia, but this Arena is more roman than greek.Greek arenas are more oval for Chariot races or other sportive events. The round arenas are mostly half-rounded and have on one side with buildings as scenery for theater. And they are not called arena,,they are called amphitheater.

This little inconsistency does not detract from a great model.

You can call me now a smart aleck cheeky

I think Roman chariot racing was also done in oval arenas, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chariot_racing

This looks more like a gladiator arena to me

does not matter, fact is that such a set was needed for a long time because of all these gladiator outfits since M4/V4

  • Purchased this today.

    The doors don't open, really?

    That's a huge oversight.

The set is good but I have to retexture it if I have enough time, don`t like the textures and I also render in 3Delight and it is just Iray (I do not like iray and I don`t need Iray)

That is exactly what I thought when I saw this model. Won't be buying it because of that. As a matter of fact it is not a roman arena either ;)
