Where do all the animators live?

Hi all,

There isn't a specific forum for those of us who use Daz for animation, so I was wondering just how many animators there are on here and where they hang out. I've got some things I want to achieve and I'm not sure if I've reached the limits of what I can achieve with Daz or if I'm just not using it properly. This is no reflection on Daz as it has, over the last year or so, given me the opportunity to do things that I have always wanted to do and it is quite brilliant but I think I might have reached the point where I don't know how to proceed.

It would be good to talk this over with others and either learn how to 'unlock' Daz or move to other software. Would iclone be the answer or is there something else?

Am I alone in this or are there gurus and mentors out there who would like to listen, discuss and advise?

    Animations are posted in the Art Studio now.  We had so few animators posting that the PTB merged them into the general render forum.

    I don't think @Chohole liked your comment much, @JaguarElla.  wink  I think she will defend Bryce to the bitter end!!

    @Geoff6  There are a few animators over in the Art Forum that are quite active.  There are a few others of us who are dabbling in it a little that mostly read any animation threads to learn stuff we don't know.  You might have to hunt for a few of them, but there are some good animation threads in there.

    I am just as passionate about Carrara and basically lumped us in the same boat. ......................I think I saw a shipwreck a few turns down the creek ago shaped like a Hexagon

    Yes, I haven't had much luck in Carrara yet, but one of these days I'll figure it and Bryce out.  Hexagon I love to use and I haven't had any of the trouble most people seem to have with it.  I have seen some of the animations you've made and really like them.  Animations are one of those things I like to play around with, but I haven't yet gotten anything I would be willing to share with anyone because they are SO bad as yet.  I have learned a lot from the forums, though.
