Platinum Perks Sale? How does it work?

Please tell me how this sale works..are the prices already marked down?  do you have to buy something else to get a reduced price?

  PC+ Members get an EXTRA 25% OFF Daz Originals Including New Releases and PC+ Items!  Is this everything on the perks page or does it exclude new item even tho it says they are included?

Anything I have put in my cart to test from that sales page is exactly the price it shows on the page ....no discount...so is the discount already included in the price showing?  I haven't bought anything from the last several sales because they didn't seem to workk the way they were marketed, but I would like to get some things off my list today in this sale if it works as stated.

    Extra discount should work on all DAZ originals and should already be visible on the product page.

    A not-new item that you usually would get at 30% off will be 48% off with both discounts applied.

    A new one would usually be 51% off (30% PC discount and 30% intro discount) and would now be 64% off with the extra discount.

    And for PC+ items you should see 25% off the usual PC+ price (not sure if there's a "standard" discount to get the usual price).

    Normally you get 30% off Daz Original items, now you get an extra 25% off. This makes it somewhere around 48% off, which is what's already shown. So if you're seeing 47-48% off with Daz Original titles, you are seeing the discounted price, that's what it should be. (I looked at a couple items, and it's showing at this price in the store.)

    it's already there for example this normaly $1.99 pc+ Robot Titan  http://www.daz3d.com/robot-titan  is $1.49 at moment same with other items normally at that price, others adjusted at different discounts on a side note folks if you go to shop page and select price low to high there's some new freebies added if of course you don't already have them well I didn't M4 Hero pack, Nick Steampunk bundle, texture for fantasy seperaes 2, and Dark Storm Sword -this is new one for G3F

    Thank you all so much for replying...sales have become so complicated I never know how the sale is supposed to work.  Now I know the price is already there and what you see is what you pay :)

    Umm shouldn't that be 55% off total not 48?  30+25=55?  Or is Daz math different?

    Nothing to do with "DAZ maths" — it's percentages of percentages. They don't add, they multiply.

    As SpottedKitty said they stack. For example for a $100 item 30% off leaves a price of $70; then 25% off that $70 leaves $52.50 for an overall discount of 47.5%

    I just wish they had these dang-blasted sales when I had money. The M7 pro bundle will be laughing at me from my wishlist for a long time to come. indecision

    30% off Daz Originals, and the additional 25% to make a total discount of 48% on DOs              PC+ items show PC+ price already.

    Mines not working, I phoned them to ask for it to be fixed. Hopefully it will be done in time.

    Ahh yes of course,  take 30% off then take another 25% off of the new discounted ammount which works out to 48% total (in general).  Yeesh don't mind me,  been a long day and I guess the brain is fried.
