Fantasy Weapons Collection 3--no Holiday Sale discount?

I'm not showing a holiday discount on this item (like the 50% I've gotten on all other new items) when I put this product in my cart. Am I doing something wrong, or is this item exempt from the Holiday Sale "punchables" discount?

    Ah, I think I see what they've done — I was wondering why I couldn't see them in the store front page, then I realised I already have them all. The three sets aren't new, they've apparently just been updated with Iray materials and Genesis 3 smartprop settings. This sort of thing has happened before, and I think it did cause various weirdnesses with no-they're-not-new sale prices.

    So, what you are saying is that the Sale may not have ended, but the discounts don't apply to recycled and improved older products (BTW I can't find those "original" older versions)?

    There aren't any original versions to find, these are the originals — they have the same product ID numbers. This sort of updating has happened several times since Iray rendering was added as an option to the D|S program, but this is only the second time something has actually been reintroduced to the top of the store listing because of the update. Yes, it is a bit weird; I think we'll have to wait for official word from a DAZ_person about the sale prices.

    I think the "reintroduction" is because the product now supports another generation of figures, and is more than just an update to include Iray presets. Wasn't the other reintroduction the characters from Jepe? He gave his M4 characters Iray presets, but also added support for Genesis 2 Males. As I recall, though, Jepe's products did qualify new product promos for that sale...

    there was also the alphakini stuff that was rereleased to support g3f as well as iray think those that had bought the previous version got a free dim update whereas buy new price had gone up prior to that the bundle containg the first 3 sets was often in sales really cheap should grabbed it back then it's had a 4th set added since then not added to bundle
