Love that product!
It's simplistic and a stroke of genious!
Now I wish for a corresponding one for G1 too. :-)

Yes, very much so. I understand that it is hard, if not impossible, to make spandex breast morph for all Genesis female morphs but even one for Basic Female (along with sock and glove and other things) would be a sale for me. It is a lovely product.

There is a good chance that I will do something similar for M5...with luck maybe even the textures will swap (not sure how that will work...but I can hope)

Impressed, no annoying clothing models to conform, just simple morphs plus the material addon.
One question regarding the mask, how do you get the look you have on the main picture?
i.e. the skin/flesh through the eye holes & mouth area, I just end up with a dark eye mask shaped area.

Maybe if you post an example of what you are getting I can better understand.

The concept I used in my mask texture was that the hero might put on makeup around the eyes to further hide the face. This way I got around the need for people to actually need a face mask prop. So the skin around the eyes is supposed to look like skin, but darkened with some kind of makeup.

I was refering to the main picture of the No Suit product

There is no makeup just the flesh/skin of the figure.
    I hope that made sense.

There is the no suit morphs, and there is also the no suit texture set.
I assumed you were talking about the texture set.

In that promo there I made the texture custom for that shot. Where I cut out the skin texture from a character set and put it on top of what I was using as a mask.
It was made before I made the suit texture set, so it is different.

I purchased both and considered them practicly as one, so yes admitadly I jumped to the wrong conclusion about the mask/mat but I went by the items key advertising image (which was the first thing you see) and as a result concluded at a glance that what I saw was what I was getting.
Regardless still a good buy and hope you have more morphs & mat options in future.

I wish DAZ would hurry up and make Gen3 compatible with Carrara.. It's items like this I would love to get :-(

  • I've been having a "super" time with both Genesis 3 male and female versions of the suit recently. Here is what you do to use a character skin texture with the No Suit. Go to the clothing folder (yes clothing) and find No Suit for your figure. Grab the the figure and it will load your Genesis 3 figure with that material zones. Then click the MOR icon to add the morphs, which is wrinkles and stuff. Next, apply the skin materials from the character you want to use. It will look strange because the morphs are in there to make the skin wrinkly like it is clothing. Final step, have fun using the materials Rawn provided, or mix it up with your favorite shaders. You will see the new material zones in the surfaces tab. They make logical sense if you look at them. Add a shader to the parts you want to be clothing, and leave the parts you want to be skin alone.

Here are Dash and Cailin dressed up for action. I like that you can add different boots or accesories from any set you like, and there is no worry about compatibility or poke through.

That would be nice, though, if you are doing a G1 version, why not throw-in a G2M version as well?

Please be aware that this is an ancient thread and has nothing to do with the new releases.
