Does having DSON core installer mean it works with Poser for sure?

Some items I notice say it's compatible with DS (and doesn't list Poser), but I thought if it had the DSON core installer that's what it meant. I'm looking at A Fine Regal Attire for example:

I assume if not I can still convert it?

DSON core installer is the main installer for DS.
For Poser you need a Poser companion file in order to use the DSON Importer for Poser.
But you can export from DS to Poser still, right?
Thanks
You need to make a PoserCF to do that, afaik
If the Notes section on a Genesis-X-specific product's page doesn't include "Poser Companion Files" on the list of items the product includes, then it's not compatible with the DSON Importer for Poser. You will have to load the item in DS and create the companion files, yourself.
DSON is the format, and it had better be compatible, as it is the 'native' format...the DSON importer is what is used by Poser.
DSON is the format, but the Importer won't work without Poser companion files.
You can always use D3D's DSON loader script to load a model without PCF files; you may have to adjust the materials in poser, but AFAIK, any materials loaded through PCF files 'we' create in DAZ wil require adjustment anyway......
Some items - mainly morphs - don't require PoserCFs as there's nothing to load through the library. In that case theer will usually be a note that there are no user-facing (that is, library) files and the item may be Poser-compatible.
