HELP: Can Someone assist me in getting DS3 Plugins To Work in DS2?

I recently expirenced a HD crash so I am in need to reinstall certain plugins into my DS2 environment.  For some of the plugins i actually had locally on the machine and were lost so i had to re-download the plugins from Daz's site... however a number of them no longer will install into a DS2 environment as they look for a DS3 environment or fails the install.

The apps in question are:
HandGrip
Multi-Layered Image Editor (MLIE)

I would be highly appreciative if anyone could offer assistance.

    MJ it's my understanding that the plugins aren't backward compatable ,those for DS3 won't work in DS2 ...

    Ive been digging thru all my cd's. dvd's, and backup external HD's and i found the installer for HandGrip.
    Now if I only can get my hands on the MLIE DS2 version...  this sucks!

    Mj is there a reason you are still useing DS2 and not one of the more recent versions?? Just me being curious
