Can't Upload to my gallery

I get the message "You can't upload files of this type" when I try to upload the attached image. Any ideas why not?

I've seen other .jpg images that are much larger in the galleries. Can't find any image limitations beyond content in the TOS.

    What browser are you using?

    Have you tried a different one?

    Browser is Internet Explorer 11. Haven't liked any of the myriad alternatives.

    I can obviously upload to te forums, subject to the usual random quirks. I can upload to other sites.

    Is this the first time that you have had any problems uploading to the Gallery.  I notice that you don't currently have any images there.

    Would suggest that you go to galleries and log out and back in. I just uploaded the forum image, with drag and drop. I am on Explorer 11. update 25. It works fine for me.

    If the log out doesn't and back in doesn't help, please submit a support ticket.

    I've logged out and in a couple of times, closing the browser in between. I've tried drag and drop and click to open a file window. Still no good.

    This is the first time I have tried to populate the gallery.
