  • Yep. They changed the banner but seem to have forgotten to change the discount to the new stores. Last time I checked the old stores (i.e. Mec4D) still had the extra 20%.

  • Totally agree.

I tried to shop here on Black Friday, and the discount wasn't working - now I'm trying to shop on Cyber Monday - and the discount isn't working.  I'm going to buy what's indicated as being on sale and then ask cusomer service for a credit for the additional 20%.

Yeah, it's not working for me either. I'm with you, Fauvist.

Okay, I bought it - and asked customer service for a credit of the extra 20%.  They can verify it was on sale for the extra discount by looking at the time stamp on the recipt or PayPal transaction.  It means a whole lot of extra work and confusion for DAZ though.

Nah, they need to fix it. I'm not going to hassle with getting a credit from Customer Service.

One of the many reasons they should consider a more regular, consistent sale structure is to avoid the QA and chaos of all these crazy sale deals not working properly.

I bought an item at 65% instead of 55% + 20% since I was afraid that the item was going to be out of sale if I waited to be fixed. Will I get a reimbursement of the missing 10% since it was advertised as 55% + 20%?

Probably. Write to customer support and explain what happened.  So far I've only had one issue with sales, and it was handled very quickly and very positively.

Oops, sorry for the previous response. That IS actually the correct discount.

Thanks for the response. If I wouldn't had known, I would had bought another item I wanted. :( But it is all good.

It looks like you already got the ectra 20%.  The extra 20% stacks with the 55% to give a total discount of about 65%. It is NOT added to the 55%.

Oh boy, I didn't even look at those numbers with the current sale not showing the extra 20%...

Indeed, the 65% is actually the 55% + 20%, so that is the correct discount.

    $10.00 with the 55% discount = $4.5
    $4.5 with the 20% discount = $3.6

Giving a total of 64% discount.

That pricing makes no sense at all, LOL. It says "in addition" which means the process of uniting two or more numbers into one sum, represented by the symbol +. They really should reword the banner to state that the 20% is taken off of the 55% discount final price

Still not fixed. The extra 20% is not showing up for the new stores (Slide3D & Larsen) advertised in the banner; they are only at 55% off. At this rate their sale period will be over before it is fixed. :-(

Well, new stores are now up and the extra 20% NEVER did show up on the last 2 (Slide3D and Larsen). Wonder if it will show up on the new ones.

If it meant an increase from 55% to 75% it would say "save an extra twenty percentage points".

    The issue has been reported.

Still not working for the newest stores either:  Arki and ShanasSoulmate.

  • Extra 20% has not worked for me yet, so I haven't bought anything.

  • If it meant an increase from 55% to 75% it would say "save an extra twenty percentage points".

Arithmetically, that's what it does say, Richard.

"Discount is in addition to the 55% Store Wide 'Cyber Monday' discount."

    20% in addition to 55% is 75%.

"Extra discount applies to the 55% Store Wide 'Cyber Monday' discount prices."  <-- This would say what is meant. Yes, us old timers know what DAZ means with extra discounts. By now it should be easy to present the sale straightforwardly to newcomers.

By the way, the "Store Wide" discount isn't store wide. It doesn't apply to PC+ items. This isn't listed in the exclusions as it sometimes is.

    (humbug, etc)

    It does! :)

Ah, perhaps if you're in the PC+. Not showing for me as an outsider.

  • Okay. It is 20% after/from the 55% discounted price. yes Can't compliant. It is still a good bargain, it was just that the wording confused me a bit. Thanks again for clarifying.

  • Seems to be fixed, at least as the in cart price, for the current stores; BUT what about the previous 2 stores like Larsen? Are we just out of luck with them?

  • What a great sale that was...

    NOT!!!

It's still not right. I'm only seeing 55% off in the shopping cart for items that are in the banner for the extra 20% off. Was trying to get items from Neftis3D and Flipmode.

I'm not seeing the 55% indicator on the catalog pages, but I put a few products in my cart, and both discounts were applied to them all.

Yep, it only seemed to work during the last few hours of the sale.
