Daz 3D DIM and new Poser Pro 11

Has anyone been able to get their content into the new Poser Pro 11 with the current DIM from DAZ? I have downloaded it numerous times just to make sure that it is the latest one and it does not provide a way to install content into the new Poser Pro. The last Poser Pro it gives you is Poser Pro 2014.

Please help.

Thanks......

I don't use DIM, so I can't  tell, but I guess the best thing to do is to just run the DSON installer manually and point it to the poser folder (that's what I did, and I've got DSON running and working for both PP2014 and PP11)

AFAIK if you add the path to Poser Pro 11 as "PP2014" it will install fine.

  • Hi Glaseye,

Thanks for your comment. I thought DIM and DSON was the same thing. But it's the one for sure that gives you all the content to install. You say you run it manually how is that done? When I try to point it to the directory where PP11 is installed from the cotent installer it does not want to allow me to install with this product for some reason. It still let's me install to Poser Pro 2014 though. Tha is still okay after I installed PP11.

  • Okay I checked and the DSON importer is for the Genesis figures. The DAZ3DIM is for the rest of the products? I have attached two screen captures from my Mac that show that there is no selection for Poser Pro 11.  By the way thanks tremendously for trying to help me out with this.  Thanks,

  • I have both Pposer Pro 2014 and PP 11 installed on my Mac at the same time. Do you think this is the problem. Iam afraid of deleting my Poser Pro 2014. But I will get back my content throough the installer in the end.....   8-)

  • As Leana said, try using the path for PP11 but picking a different name (I'm not sure if you can have two the same, but the plug-in is the same for all versions of Poser that support it so you should be able to pick ne without duplicationg - just make sure it matches the 32/64 bit option correctly.
