Gallery deleted

I recently had problems with my gallery of DAZ3D, two of my illustrations representing the subjects naked have been removed twice, the second time before I republish I censored private parts to avoid a second removal but they were also removed, unfortunately I can not process them again to cover them, and as it happens occasionally to me to work with subjects naked, I decided to remove my gallery to avoid problems in the future.

Have they changed the TOS? I recall DAZ themselves used to have nude renders of some of their own V4 elite characters in the gallery.

I do not know, but from what I understand is not acceptable either black shell (which I admit, are really ugly). But at that point I could only cover the bare parts reworking the entire illustration, changing the pose, the stage and the lights, this is not possible because these are illustrations already published on other sites. Unfortunately I know that I will work again with naked figures, then, without controversy, I just decided to give up the gallery of DAZ :)

Here is the official word regarding nudity on the DAZ site: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/3279/acceptable-ways-of-handling-nudity

    I hope this helps clarify.

Essentially he is saying what I said, meaning it is not allowed to cover with rectangles blacks nudity, I could just redo the whole image using a few tricks like a tent, a different lighting, or a different pose of the subject. As I said, I can not do it, so I prefer to publish my pictures on other sites :)

  • Why don't you post it at deviantart you will have no problem plus a bigger audience. See easy !

Thank you very much, in fact I already have an account on Deviant Art, which I use for a long time. I would have loved the chance to publish here, because I really love the DAZ studio but unfortunately it seems to be very complicated for the type of illustrations that do.Still I appreciate all the advice I received :)

Well that's only for the forums, isn't it? I thought it was different for the galleries, at least nude renders were allowed there a few years ago I recall.

Unfortunately the first time both the illustration were wiped, the second time I censored them but they were deleted too. So I think it's for the gallery :)

Maybe it's because DAZ wants to sell more "wearables"... ;)

Dear Chris, as I said, my works are often (not always, but often) oriented to naked people and I understand perfectly that, reading the ToS I can't use DAZ Gallery to publish them. I only wanted to specify that my gallery was deleted by me, not by admins. I'm doing this post because some people commented and likes some of my works and they should not be able to find them again.

  • NP, I was merely showing Taozen where in the ToS it showed the gallery rules.  :)

It appears where nudity is acceptable (or at least to a point) is if the characters have no textures, or are using non human/non living textures like marble, eg: where the figure is a statue. An example can be seen in this image: http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/94791

It also appears acceptable if you place things stratigacally

Thank you very much for all the advices, but unfortunately I could not apply them to the illustrations already published, especially the two "indicted," because I would repeat again throughout the long development work in photoshop and I have not really the time, also I like very much as they are and I would not be happy to change them. I know that many will understand me if I say that I would feel like a betrayal, these illustrations were created as they are, it does not seem right to me to change them for any reason. wink

I'm actually surprised that one has survived in the galleries as it's showing both butt cheeks on one girl, even if only partially. I've myself got an image deleted where the model had a similar pose. Apparently there's a very fine line there somewhere that I overstepped and this did not.

As this thread has served it's purpose with a post of the Gallery TOS, it is now being locked.
