I saw this in the Michael 7 Promo:

**Genesis 3 Male Starter Essentials must be installed through Daz Install Manager (DIM) to use Michael 7 in Daz Studio. To find the Genesis 3 Starter Essentials search for (# deleted by me) in DIM and click to install.

I have the G3 Male Essentials downloaded and installed, but NOT through the DIM, which won't connect to my Account.  (I have worked with DAZ Tech Support for days, but it ain't happening.)

Does the statement in quotes mean G3 Male Essentials require DIM Installation, specifically?  Or can the G3 Male Essentials be downloaded and installed as I usually do -- manually -- for M7 to work?

Any additional info would be appreciated.

    You know, only way to find out is if you can load Michael 7 into DS without a problem.  I tried using M7 last night into DS prior to having installed Genesis 3 Male Starter Essentials and I got an error message.  I think it should be fine if you install it manually.

    Manual install works fine.

    I didn't see why M7 wouldn't work with manual install, but then again, I wasn't sure.
