should i get a titan or another videocard

i was thinking about using my 960 for my main gaming or whatever but i keep hearing people getting titan graphics cards are they that big of a diffrence or just faster rendering . i dont see whats the use of getting such a high end graphics card if other then speed is the diffrence or am i wrong?

The Titan is a lot more powerful. Mostly people choose to use the 970's/980's because they're cheaper. The 960 is the weakest in that series.

12GB RAM 768 Bit DDR5 (the 960 tops out at 4GB 128 Bit which is far slower and you cant combine RAM over multiple cards in Iray)
5760 Cuda Cores (approxiamtly 4.5x the cores of the 960, plus a bugger PSU needed to drive four cards and the added heat to your system)
If you can afford it over the 980ti, then the extra RAM will be useful; if you'd sooner not spend that kind of cash, with the new pascal cards coming next year.

I'm a renderer, gamer and general hardware enthusist, but that card is $1500. That's almost how much my entire rig costs. That's bananas.
