I am not going to be able to do any renders for a while because my old laptop is not worthy of the new Daz Studio 4.21
It has low memory and very slow at much of everything right now!!
I would like to take this time to say Happy Holidays to one and all and look forward to seeing you all in 2024!!

I know it has been a while since I have updated this thread but I have been busy trying to save some money to get myself a new lappy so I can use my daz program again!!
So far so good with saving!!!
My year has been going pretty good so far!!
Real life has been busy with my gbabies!!
I hope to be back rendering by the end of July I hope!!!
Also I may be getting into making my own stuff then.
If I get good at it I might just start selling in the Daz3d Store!!

Just a little update RL has been kicking my backside!!
I have been battling my laptop that has very low memory!!!
So I am not able to render anything or even use GIMP!!
I so am missing rendering and editing the images!!!!
I am happy to report that I have got a new to me laptop and have downladed Daz and now downloading all my old and new content so it will be a couple days before I can post some new renders but i am back and on track to making new stuff!!!
It is sad to report that Daz is crashing each time I try to render anything, so I am going to have to find another computer.
No matter what I try to render it crashes hard core!
So it is going to be a while before you all see anything from me!!!
Are you sure it is not a driver - issue? Or a scene which is too big, or that you have to change certain settings (e.g. Render Tab - optimization - Ray Tracing low memoriy: on / Instancing optimization: low memory, or MAIN MENU: EDIT - Preferences - Interface - texture resources more on performance / Pixel buffer not to high and keeping nvidia off in the viewport)?
If you have the latest NVIDIA driver? It's been causing a lot of issues and if you do, try rolling back the driver to the version you last had that was stable.
I have tried just about everything I could think of to get it to render!! I do thank you for your advice though.
I don't have the latest NVIDIA driver. I have heard of all the troubles it causes my laptop is a referb. So I do not know what to really do and it is crashing even when doing a portrait with nothing in the background!!

I have a brand new laptop!!!
I am dowloading and installing all my stuff right now as I am typing this out!!
I went and bought a 2T harddrive as well to put all my daz stuff in!!
I have so much stuff for daz it will not all download!!!
Can someone plz help me I only have a 512 HD?
Have you considered buying another disk? External if it is a laptop.
Man this is so hard to explain!!
If I just download it and set it up but try to get all the internals to load into the external hd it doesn't work it still goes on the internal hd!!
If I move the exe to the external hd and set it all up in there I can not sign in or get to my stuff I am so confused as to what to do here!!
