Using Skyler hair for G2F with Iray creates weird shadow effects in the hair.
What is going wrong?

What lights do you have in the scene?
I use an hdri map as light (and background).
Unless the Skyler hair has specific Iray shaders, you're bound to get some odd effects. Just converting the hair parts to Iray Uber is often not enough. Most hair contains transparency maps, and you need to be careful how these are converted in Iray. If you don't want to do it yourself, there are several Iray hair products available. My favorite is the UHT Iray shader by Slosh, available here.
Because you are dealing with a transparency, you might try locating your character right at 0,0,0, if it isn't already. Reposition the camera accordingly and retake your shot. If the odd shadowing goes away, it's a known problem with Iray.
BTW, next please provide a larger example image. It's hard to see any detail in the small graphic you've provided.
I use the Iray shaders for Skyler
I hoped 512x288 was big enough... well, next time.
Edit: Even when I use http://www.daz3d.com/uht-hair-shaders-for-iray the effect is the same... except for a white part in front of the face instead the hair.
Here a bigger version
If you're using hdri you may need to reposition the figure so the light falls differently, I'm not sure if you can change time of day when using a hdri image...
I rotated the dome 200 degree... almost the same.
Also located the character to 0,0,0 ... no difference.
Now I deleted and added the hair, using a less intense hdri background and now the hair turns white
maybe I should file a ticket
Check that the cutout opacity map isn't being compressed and that it's gamma is set to 1 (Image Editor under Surface).
Gamma is set to 1 and compression makes no difference if I set it to 0 or 8192.
