Help!!! I cannot save renders

OK, my new computer had an issue so I took it to be repaired and now have it back. The issue was the backlight in the screen. IN any case, it's fixed. It was gone a month, so I used my old computer from last summer to render while it was away. Now that I am back on the new one, I copied some scenes from the old one on to this one. Both have the same version of D/S 4.24. I can open scenes fine. I can render them. But when I hit cancel, all I see now is Close. There is no Save option. Is there a setting that I might have accidentally selected that took away the save option? 

At a total loss here.

    OK, now it seems to be working. What did I do?

    You entered a filename for the render? There is no save button active if no name is entered.

    Do you have a file directory set for where to save renders? No location set, no saving would be my guess.

    The render window can be set to use a render library or a folder.
