Wet Skin Geoshell Causing Black Spots/Smears

Hello Everyone! I've recently gotten my hands on MD Wet Skin for Genesis 9 and I've run into a problem with the geoshells making these strange black spots where the water droplets should be. For lighting my scene I'm only using an HDRI. I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain what's going on and how/if I can fix it. Cheers!!!

I wonder if thats shadows by the water drops. That's probably not helpful, as if it is I don't know how to fix it, but that's what it looks like to me.
