In the 4th product image it mentiosn, at STep 3, "Select all items HM Mesh Merger" - what is the HM Mesh Merger?
It comes with Hedge Maker ( which is a required product as I use the plugin ) and It felt stupid to distribute that tool again.
Ahh - the penny drops - HM = Hedge Maker, got it, thank you. Way too early in the morning (for me) to think!
Are there plans to get all Code tools to work in daz2026?
Plans are to get most of them working. Right now we got the SDK for plugins, but as it's still work in progress, things changes and plugins needs to be rebuilt.
For script products, those with GUIs usually needs a bit of work before they work, things are getting fixed in the heart of DS 6 for things that wasn't working as expected, but it's a long journey, and some products might be redone as plugins instead as DS 6 works much better from my development point of view than 4 ever did.
Then some will be dropped, either because they didnt sell or there are to many similar product out there now so it's not worth the hours, days or even weeks to get them over to DS 6.
Another great tool, @Totte
Hope it can be used not only inside Hedge Maker (which I have already bought),
but in any other scenes.
Only reason for HedgeMaker is that I use the plugin for this too for the collision engine, same as with PopPlus. The collision code is well tested and fast, and it felt stupid to have more than one installed plugin doing the same thing, we need to avoid eating up users memory if we can avoid it.
Only thing to keep in mind is that indoor scenes, of the roof is the same mesh as floor, as I show in the manual, use HM Mesh Merger to create a mesh from the "house", then remove the roof from that.
Here's an odd one for you:
Load PBB Table from https://www.daz3d.com/polish-baroque-balcony
Load VGVS Vase 05 from https://www.daz3d.com/venetian-glass-vases-set
Follow the instructions and set the vase to colide with the table
Nothing happens, no error messages, nothing in the log file. Nothing
Load XI DSC Outdoor Side Table from https://www.daz3d.com/xi-desert-safari-camp into the same scene
Use the same vase and it collides perfectly with the new table
Move the vase back to the PBB table and it now collides perfectly with that as well.
No idea what caused it, but thought you should know about it in case people start claiming that the script doesn't work.
Interesting. How it differs from PopPlus (which I have already bought)?
Can be that the table is offset ( bones are not zeroed or accidentally moved, savme with item to drop, so ther mesh it collides to isnt where it seems to be )
PopPlus works witrh LowPi Crowds, which is a bit different to handle.
Does not work for me. It only aligned one object in the group.
I haven't purchased yet so I haven't read the manual, but I would expect it to maintain the relative positons of items that are grouped or otherwise parented.
Dont drop grouped items as the group changes bounding boxes, drop them ungrouped. Check paragraph 2.0.1 in the manual.
I am so glad I read the above posts before trying anything tomorrow. Too busy today, and not sure when tomorrow I will find time, but I bought this right away. This function is one of those things that can eat up an hour or more just getting something aligned on a surface. And a lot of that is due to my eyesight issues, not Daz Studio.
So read carefully first, if you have a tutorial, follow it.
Totte thank you so much for this.
And if you end up having to rewrite stuff for DS6 to the point of putting out a new product, I will buy it. I do not have your skills and appreciate what you do.

Awesome tool, this is great for lots of little applications. Tested on various asset placements from dropping trees on terrain to placing asset layout in the new to me Mini Apartment I recently acquired.
As requested by some users, here is the manual if you want to read up on it before you purchase.

Thanks, @Totte
I have just read the first 2 pages of the manual.
Your first example with 6 tankards make me think that it will work with groups of the objects.
Sorry for misunderstanding.
Very funny package.
By the way, is it any limit of how many items can be stacked on each other?
Not really, it's all about how you do it and when you get bored stacking them.
Very nice tool lots of application. Cheeky cats got away with it..
This was done with C66 Drop Collide, Easy to use, Select the target (a lot of targets can be in you list for selection) Move the asset to drop above the location and select the next script to drop on the target.
So we know who is going to get blamed.
Is that Richards evil brother? ( thinking of @barbult 's renders....)
Having too much fun with the tool.

I’m still a bit unclear about the requirement for HedgeMaker. Does HedgeMaker come with the purchase of Drop Collide or is a separate purchase of HedgeMaker still needed to use Drop Collide?
Does Drop Collide do what UltraScatter Pro with regard to dropping items onto targets but easier/better/faster? Same question regarding the Daz Studio Align tool.
Thanks much!
The HedgeMaker product (Its dirt cheap right now ) is required as Drop Collide uses the plugin from HedgeMaker to handle collisions. The HM Mesh Merger tool that comes wth HedgeMaker is useful for Drop Collide to to create Drop Targets when you want to drop items more that one mesh, or you need to remove stuff ( for example a ceiling, to be able to drop to the ground.
Drop Collide can be used to drop things like Ultra Scatter, but it does not create instances that it drops, It's more like a compliment to it, you want to drop a bunch of trees onto you ground of scattered lady bugs for example.
Thanks much for your clarification!
March 16 update - They're both mine now! :)
Evil as opposed to...?
As opposed to excellent at all things and somewhat delusional.
Thanks
If daz just automatically supplied links to all items with manuals that would probably help sales
many items are complex einought that a sale page doesn't really show what the product can do.

So many plugins, so little time
image 1 added working lights to the hummers coverted from DzFires M-998*
image 2 finally, I think, have a morphing street that I can use to create something other than flat blocks
image 3 love Stone Masons stuff but have to stick my morphing windows (shades, curtains, sash) in them because defenstration is about having open windows.
image 4 getting water to really work. The ship below the surface is a telemetric image of a ship that's rotting along a river in England
*background sky is AI from Adobe Firefly in the style of Charles Moran.
