Lost Item associations with saved subsets

Been seeing a lot of this in the past two releases.

Very annoying having to dig up the missing items and re-save everything.

Is there a way to re-associate things that come up as missing?

I'm never prompted to find the items.

  • That looks as if the Data folder with the assets is not being found. Open the Preferences dialogue, go to the Content Library tab, and click the Content Directory Manager Button. Expand Current Directories, then DAZ Studio Formats, and post a screenshot here please.

Those look right. Where are the files you have to reassociate actually located on your drives?

    Yes.

I noticed this when I updated to 4.8 from 4.7

If I run 4.7 they come up fine.

I have seen similar issues when using the 4.9 beta with items created while running 4.8.

Not sure why this happens, but it only happens on some subsets not all.

If I delete the missing items, from my character in the scene, and reload them, then save the subset they will reload correctly, but if I have a similar subset that I did not rebuild, it will still fail to find the items, even though I have those items working in another subset.

That is sounding like a path or permissions problem to me...what operating system do you have?

That outfit is - http://www.daz3d.com/aeron-for-genesis-2-female-s - if I am not mistaken.  If so, it was recently updated.  Please make sure you are using the latest version.

Do you have the same content directorysetup on all your different DS installations?

    Check and compare.
