Nice, thanks.
Stonemason stuff is always a treat. They have a great geometry and so they can be easily used in Blender as well, as I do not render in Daz for a while now.
I just want to say thank you for all of the cameras. Also want to say that I own a huge amount of his stuff and I have not once been disappointed. Can't wait to use this.
Wow! Very cool. Love the look.
But you have to say "friend" …
Opening nefarious looking gates with big metallic skulls on each side, what could go wrong?
Too skully for my taste. Without these it would be more interesting, just imho...
Potentially it is their own object and can be hidden. Else if it has its own surface it can be set to Cutout-Oppacity to 0 (invisible). If that also fails, you can make a conditional graft to hide them.
I have it, but haven't installed it yet, so can't check. But my guess would be they are objects.
You have this in the file list:
/data/Stonemason/shg/shg Skull/shg Skull.dsf
/data/Stonemason/shg/shg Skull/UV Sets/Stonemason/Base/default.dsf
So looks like objects.
And I would find them far less interesting without the skulls.
The skulkls on the doors are part of the mesh, and not separated by surface, but they are not welded so clicking on the skull with the Geometry Selection tool and hitting cmd/ctrl * will seelct it al - it can then be hidden (right-click>Geometry Visibility, but that won't save) or used as a conditional graft or turned into a bone seelction group and hidden that way. It does leave a visible change to the surface of the metal, but that copuld be wear or it could be hidden with a grunge decal, Layered image overlay, or the like
I like the detail of your work, but I have to point out that none of the promos seemed to indicate that minor :) detail. It seemed pretty, but static... or pretty static, so I ignored it I'm afraid. My loss I guess.
