  Are you logged into your account within Daz Studio? You need to "check-in" around every 2 weeks I think so it can confirm that your Premier subscription is active.

  yes i am. also my asset updates wont update. it is stuck on obtaining data from Daz Connect for DAYS. i have an always on computer setup so its literally be 48 hour of being stuck on that. not to mention numorus assets in my smart content have no image in the thumbnail just a yellow dash border with a question mark in the center! what gives????

  Have you tried closing and reopening? Also check that your firewall or other security software isn't interfering - I have had MalwareBytes deciding that DS updating content it installed is the start of a ransomeware attack (though that removed the whole application, rather than just blocking content downloads). My concern would be that the database is corrupt, given the mixture of symptoms.

  im thinking its the database is corrupted. i've been having drives fail left and right. i had four die this month alone :( is there a fix? redownloading on a working drive? reinstalling DIM? Daz Studio?

  If it's actually corrupted then probably not, do you have a back up of the Content Cluster folder (made when DS and DIM were closed)? Did you ever, ideally recently, export user data (from the Content DB Maintenance dialogue)?

  i actually checked my entire library is backed up on multiple drives just not  the content cluster itself

  OK, if you don't have a back up and didn't export user-data then you won't be able to get your own scenes and presets added back to the database, and content installed through Daz  Studio (Daz Connect) will have to be reinstalled (though if the daz Connect Data Directory is the same then it should not need to actually download then files) but if you do a reset on the database then reimport metadata for manual and DIM/Daz Central installations. I would use Edit>Preferences>CMS Settings to set a new location for the Content Cluster, so that you don't lost the database in case the issue is something else, then from the Content Library pane option menu open Content DB Maintenance, check Reimport Metadata, and in the dialogue that opens check the master checkbox to seelct and repimport all the product data that DS could find.

  That kinda helped but my premier characters aren't showing up ANYWHERE. Not in smart content not in my library not in ready to install not in pending not in updates available. Should I just uninstall DAZ Studio DIM and everything else except my library and start over? If that helps. Of god forbid should I *gulp* reinstall my entire computer's operating system?

  The Premier shapes are available only through Daz Connect (log in through Daz Studio, Update metadata, download through the Install pane or one of the views showing all/uninstalled products).

   i did log in through daz studio and i reimported the metadata like you mentioned earlier and they still didn't show up. i suppose you are not talk about that? if not what are you suggesting?
