You may be able to achieve that effect using The FoliageMaker.

  • Not with a morph, certainly - morphs cannot add (or remove) opening from the mesh. It might be possible to get close with a transparency map to hide most of the parts and displacement to apply roundness (or a shell and the base figure dispalced in opposite directions to make it a truly solid looking tendril).

You might be able to use this (^) as a basis, replacing leaves with catkins (or something similarly small) IF you can hide the base character or can export the 'branches' without the base figure

If you can, then editing in Blender/Hexagon and importing as an Obj would - modelling talent depending - get you close.

If there's an artist support thread, maybe ask in that... though the product was released a few years ago... there's also a link for you to PM and an email address on the Product Documentation page: https://docs.daz3d.com/public/read_me/index/91000_91999/91755/start

(It's a great looking image you've attached - and the quoted foilage product looks pretty neat too smiley)
