Installing Exclusive Content

Hello,

Can someone point me to link or some instructions that tells me how to download the exclusive content I am supposed to have access to with my Premier membership? I am talking about the exculsive characters and not the Premier features.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

  • Those must be installed through Daz Studio, they don't have DIM/manual installation options. You need to let DS connect to your account, Connect>Log-in, and in the log-in dialogue you must check Update Metadata or you can use the same command in the Connect menu. Once you have done that you should be able to find the products in the Install pane, or the All or Available install state filters at the bottom of the Products tab of Smart Content, or listed alphabetically after the entries for installed products in the Content Library pane under products. Just double-clck on the product entry to install it (the files go to the location set for the daz Connect Data Drectory in Edt>Preferences>Content tab, Content Directory Manager)

Thanks for the reply, Richard. I managed to find everything I was looking for and then install it. One more question, if you don't mind. Once I connect to Daz Studio Premier online, I am able to then work offline for a period of time before I have to reconnect online again. During those periods when I am working offline, are these exclusive characters still available to me?

They are.  Just login roughly once every week and a half or two weeks to keep them authorized; you can logout as soon as the metadata updates.

I suppose it means it will remove all the fixes I made on metadata for products from the Daz store?

It should not remove "user metadata" that you created yourself, only update the "vendor metadata"
