Yet another PayPal "pending" payment

So it seems I'm not the only one with PayPal problems, as the forum has several posts of this nature. Placed an order today (Nov. 1 2024, ord. no. DA24-1101-ACC5-943F-3A89) for the following items:

FWSA Xavier HD for Michael 7
Heart Breaker Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s)
i13 Sci-Fi Splendor Expressions for the Genesis 3 Female(s)
Kemet Bench
Greek Chic Outfit for Genesis 2 Female(s)
Let's Get Physical for Genesis 2 Female(s)
Cross-back Dress for Genesis 2 Female(s)
Acheron Pit
DeadEnd Poses
Galactic Corps Defender
Teen Swag
The Fence Collection
DLD Soft Synthetic Plastic Shaders for Iray

Transaction flagged as "pending" in PayPal, "failed" in my Daz order history. Got this useless email from PayPal:

"As part of our security measures, we review certain payments more closely to ensure our platform is being used properly and to minimize the potential risk for us and our customers. One of the payments that you sent is currently being reviewed. We are working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Their "further details" online are just as opaque:

"Regulations require us to take a closer look at some transactions. Your payment is temporarily pending while we review it."

Meanwhile, of course, the sale didn't go through. So which item was it that triggered PayPal's idiotic pron and-or contraband-goods censorbot?

n.b. This is a PayPal problem, I know, not a Daz one. Mostly what I want is to complete the transaction at the price it was marked for; a couple of those items were grab bag/flash sale items. PayPal is useless; their AI chatbot is trash, and there's no live help option outside of certain hours, so … yeah, so much for 24/7 customer support, I guess.

    Some buy Daz gift cards to avoid these PayPal issues.

    I'm not seeing anything offhand that would trigger the usual blocked content from PayPal so not sure what's going on. Please let us know if you find out and if it has to do with the title of a product so we can pass that on so they can take a look at it..

    I know this advice is probably too late but always checkout freebies as a separate order. Looking at your items, you have this month's free items.

    Just got hit with this, I had ONE item in my order that required payment:

    Now my question is will this be resolved or do I need to redo my entire order?

    I would bet it's The Kemet Bench. Kemet = Egypt = possibly illegal antiquities. Since that's one of the "weekly" freebies I'd suggest doing those is a seperate cart.

    Sorry for the necro but getting this issue too. Paypal holding back the payment for paypal reasons and the "Processing" circle is spinning around on the daz popup thingie. Can I close my browser / turn off the computer? Is there anything else I should do?

    You can close the browser. Check your PayPal Account to get more information. I had this two weeks ago. After 3 Days the transaction was finished.

    Well, the order status on daz page is now failed but paypal still doing paypal stuff and keeping my money.

    I had this a week or two ago. I closed it and forgot about it. It said failed the next day. Two days later it went through on both ends.
