  • Well, the add on and lingerie bundles contain a lot of missing fabric. :)

Leona is already on the premiere character bundle page. And a few others were re-added but ones I own so I'm not sure which ones.

How ironic is it that the first female DAZ premiere character in ages to NOT include nude promotional images is the first one that being specifically marketed as an actual lingerie model...?

Well, at least the outfits seem a little better made than usual.

The add on hourglass figure looks like there is supposed to be a darker skin option, but there doesn't seem to be any additional materials when I downloaded it.

A lingerie model, not a nude model.

I had a feeling this would happen: a basic figure for Valentine's Day? That can only mean that I have to save my Premier Coupon until the next date, 26 February. If we get another meaningless white chick in tasteless underwear or a “masculine” (= grumpy) looking white guy with some military stuff next time, hopefully there will be one or two character bundles I can take instead.

I like the mix of Leona 9 and John 9 better. Leona seems to work better as a male character.

You're supposed to have access to the following Mat Tanned presets with Leona 9 Hourglass HD Shape Add-On:

    • /People/Genesis 9/Characters/Daz Originals/Leona 9/Materials/Leona 9 All MAT Tanned.duf
    • /People/Genesis 9/Characters/Daz Originals/Leona 9/Materials/Leona 9 Skin MAT Tanned.duf

    They are not present?

"Leona delivers a bold budoir aesthetic"

Yes, let's just completely reduce a woman's potential to what she looks like in scanty underthings in the bedroom.

And also, let's promote that there's a particular "look" one must have if one wants to be alluring in lacy underthings in the bedroom. Everyone likes this one particular thing. No other shapes need apply.

    Vomit.

    For so many reasons, vomit.

As to the character herself and not just the atrocious marketing... I like her textures decently enough. The way her mouth is sculpted looks like it would be hard to get expressions to turn out decent looking.

Though I like the figure and the bundles, it kinda annoys me that the lingerie add-on bundle contains several things already found in the other bundles, meaning there's no point buying that bundle together with either of the other two bundles. I know I can buy that add-on bundle later with a huge discount, but the point is, that there's no reason to ever buy them together in a single transaction.

It's why I much preferred the old system of starter bundle and pro bundle, where buying the pro bundle (and maybe some texture add-ons), and getting to ignore the starter bundle completely, or the pro-bundle actually including the starter bundle.

Besides that, though I think the outfits are nice, they do not really match the Valentines theme of the sale, it's all a bit too gothic/grungy. But that's more of a marketing issue. They could've opted for not making the sale Valentine themed, or picking other assets to include in this sale.

what they never seem to cough up or add to any Valentines bundle is a nice solitaire diamond ring with an opening box

    and proposal poses

    or have I missed some?

for any gender I might add

That does it all. Proposal ring, ring box, poses.

There's also a ring box in a G2 product. Search the store for "Propose".

You don't have to buy all bundles released by Daz :P

This one was created to offer more options for people who are mainly interested in the oufits: with the bundle, they can buy all of them while benefiting for a bundle price, or someone may only want Leona and the outfits, etc.

Is she Madison’s cousin? She gave Leona her “surgeon’s” number, and it turned out the clinic was actually a hair salon where they do lip injections in the back room.

And we really need to stop reducing Valentine’s Day to something so tacky. Leona could easily celebrate the unisex figure and even be marketed as two characters, Leona and Leon. It feels incredibly tone deaf for the marketing team to keep putting out something like this in 2026, again and again.

Why do they repeat products in bundles so much?
There are a couple of products that are repeated in different bundles, which means you'd be buying them twice. And there are items that are only in a single bundle, which either means duplicating stuff by buying that bundle or paying more to buy it separately.
Can we please just have items appear in one bundle only or an "Everything" bundle that has the contents of all the bundles in it so that we can buy that if we want and not have to do a maths exam each day to find out how we're spending more than we need to this time.

She isn't white, she's mid toned, even under pretty bright light that can be seen.

Agree. The character, HD, and hair are in my cart though. It was the mouth that sold me and the mixes. Just wrapping up my cart with older products on sale.

A recent newsletter I got mentioned that one way to show your love was cooking a meal and CLEANING the kitchen up after yourself. I thought that was a wonderful idea. I hate walking back into the kitchen after any meal to find dried up dishes that were just dumped on the side and someone just stood around or went back to his room to work on his computer, instead of rinsing off and putting them into the dishwasher.

Don't forget that you can split it across two orders and get a discount on (say) the clothing bundle to relfect the items you already own from the character and add-on bundles, or maybe it will be better to buy in one order to get the extra discount. Bundles are never goung to be perfect for everyone, but this does give a bit more flexibility.

I thought she looked familiar! Thanks!

Overall, she comes across more like a light Caucasian base with a slight tan, like a couple of solarium sessions, rather than someone with a naturally deeper skin tone.

If you look at the diffuse, she’s still clearly in the light skin range (pink and peach undertones, not the neutral or olive shift you’d expect from a true mid tone base). Lighting in promos can definitely affect how she looks, but it doesn’t actually change the underlying texture values.

Facial structure wise, she also follows the classic DAZ Caucasian morph pattern: narrower nose bridge, softer features, slimmer jaw. There isn’t really a strong structural shift that would point to a different ethnic base.

So putting it all together, it feels more like a lightly tanned version of the usual base rather than a genuinely mid-toned character,  just my take.

If they still celebrate Valentine's Day after getting married, I think their relationship must be very good. Helping with housework is also a good idea for Mother's Day and Father's Day, depending on who usually does it.

The character's lips are a distinctive feature; from a certain angle, they resemble a certain celebrity, but they're not too different from previous characters. I think that's why I often buy other PA characters.

I strongly disagree. This just smells like not enough content to make two bundles. Tell you what you can ask Daz to do: Have the PAs who made the figure make an actual male version in the pack with male anatomy and male skin, so maybe, just maybe, G9 can be the unisex character it was once said to be. And try not repeating the same content in two bundle packs.

I prefer to think of it less as "helping" and more as "doing one's share because you're an adult and live here too."

    But maybe I'm biased.

My dad would never be chased off chores on Father's Day because "dads do dishes too!"

My ex-, on the other hand, loved to cook. He loved to make a big deal to everyone about how wonderful he was for cooking! ...and in the process would dirty every single pot, pan, mixing bowl, you name it, plus the entire kitchen itself (counter, stove, WALLS, everything) and then declare it was my job to clean it, because he cooked. Even if all of it was for himself, which was most of the time.

One of the simplest joys in life is that my kitchen is now always clean. :)

This. And then they could have had a variety of PAs create some versions of date clothes, fancy, casual or at home with the kids. Realistic and thoughtful. And thinking about how people with tight budgets might celebrate this date, not just the Ultra Rich.

Quality is good but the diversity isn't. Ignoring any discussions on ethnicity, the diversity of one figure to the next now barely qualifies as deriviative. "That's essentially the same person you've been selling for the past year" is a fair assessment.

Daz needs a new character artist.

  • Complaining about what is in the bundles is separate from the idea of giving people a choice of different ways to purchase if they want soem of the stuff in the first place. I was addressing the second point, it has nothing directly to do with whether or not the actual content is useful to you or whether you want even one of the bundles. As for the former, not doing what you want is not necessarily a bad thing in itself - though of course you can and should refuse to buy products that do not interest you, and if they miss the mark for idenitifiable reasons (rather than just being a style or genre that doesn't interest you) then there is nothing wrong with saying how it could have been adjusted to move it from no to yes.

    ...and the ultra-kinky?

Like you said, realistic and thoughtful would've been nice. I'm guessing the percentage of people who spend their V-day as this advertises is pretty small, against those who spend it literally any other way.

And again, there is a stunning lack of chocolates involved. And yes that is the hill I'm dying on today. It's not V-day without chocolate.

(Disclaimer: my only use for the holiday is February 15: Discount Candy Day... although TBH Easter candy is far superior, in general.)
