Stop shoes from conforming to foot shape

Is there any way to turn off the conforming of shoes to a character's foot? I've noticed this on several pieces of footwear where they will warp to the shape of the foot in places where it greatly deforms the shoe and makes it look bad. Is there any way to disable this or adjust it manually?

Thank you in advance for the help.

    How about

    1. Selecting the shoes in the scene
    2. Go to the Parameters Tab, "Show Hidden"
    3. In Parameter's Tab> Currently Used, slowly zero each morph until the shape of the shoes suits you

This is the same method used to remove elf ears deformation in hair.

An alternative is to going into the parameters of the morphs affecting the foot and turn off "Auto Follow" (although this might not be a good idea if they are morphs that affect areas other than the foot).

  • Thank you!

If the shoes have bones for the individual toes - Use the joint editor to delete the bones for each individual toe.  Leave bone "Left/Right Toes" (for all toes) alone.
