V7 - no nipple texture?

Well, after a while of being away from here, I reinstalled DAZ Studio and started using G3F. I also bought V7, because I like the shape.

So I loaded a G3F figure, dialed in V7 and added the V7 texture. Now what? No nipple texture? Just a plain pink breast?

Did I do something wrong? Is this a bug, or is this really serious? Come on DAZ, we are in the 21st century!!!!

I understand (somehow) that you include the genitals only in the pro-pack, but I have paid 44,95 dollars for her. So "correct" body textures are something we really can expect for that money!!!!!!

Btw, V5 had them, V6 had them. So why this step back?

    Just checked V7 and I have it, or she has it... whatever. :)

    Oh, really? That is strange. I have checked several times. Started DAZ Studio, loaded G3F and applied the V7 material. No nipple texture. Just a plain pink breast. I wonder why.

    What draw style do you have on?  There's a little sphere in the upper right of your 3D window.  If it does not say "texture shaded" or the like when you click the dropdown, that's probably the problem (having a shaded but not textured draw style on could cause your issue).

    Thanks. I always have the "texture shaded" drawstyle activated. But the issue is not only in the preview, it is also in the final render (3Delight).

    Have you actually looked on the texture itself?

    Are you sure it was the V7 material set, not the base G3F material set?

    Yes, I am sure. The G3F stock texture (Jeane) has a visible nipple texture in viewport and render. V7 has not. I have just looked at the texture files in the runtime folder. They look ok. They also show a vagina texture which is definitely not there when I apply the texture to G3F/V7. So I really dont know whats going on here. Maybe some kind of "censorship overlay"? :-)

    I think I will try to re-install V7 and see if that helps. Thanks so far.

    Did you check to make sure the UVs were set to V7 instead of Genesis 3?

    The stock G3F should not have nipples or genitals.

    Umm...she does...nipples, that is.

    The set I have has them on the diffuse, spec and bump maps, so that's the way it came.  The modified date for the images is May 21, 2015.

    The stock Genesis 3 does come with nipples, but no genitals.  What version of DS are you using?

    The nipples on my copy are pretty pale, but they are there.

    Have you loaded the actual texture into an image editing/viewing program and verified that it exists on the texture map?
