Iray issues and GPU settings

Hello!

I'm looking for a little help wih my Daz. I recently upgraded my PC and immediately noticed that something is off and I honestly don't know what's causing this or how to resolve it. 

In the first attachement, as you can see, CPU usage is turned off. Even so, the GPU doesn't move an inch. Viewport is empty and set to Iray but at the bottom there's the message "Preparing Scene..." and the progress bar on the right, loading, but there's literally nothing to prepare. It just loads continuously until I change the view to something other than Iray.

Second screen shows the character in Filament view, that works ok - but the third sreen is showing the same character in Iray and that's not what it should look like. I know there are no lights set up etc...but still. And of course, "Preparing Scene..." is doing its own thing without progress.

Last picture is a render preview and as it shows, it's a big nothing.

I just can't figure out what's happening and Youtube did not help at all this time.

Maybe there's someone on this forum who could enlighten me?

    It is important when asking a question like this to provide system details and the application version. I can see from the screenshot that your new system has a 5070 Ti GPU, and presumably this is Daz Studio 4. There is no version of Iray that can be integrated into DS 4, so you will not be able to use it for rendering there; you can seet up the scene in DS 4 (using CPU to do a preview render if you need to while working), save it, and open it in Daz Studio 2025 Alpha for rendering (if you don't see DS 2025 in DIM click the Download Filters button on the ready To Download tab of Instal Manager and make sure the option for that version and for Public Builds/Betas are checked). If you use Mesh Grabber, and are not a premier member, you will need to bake and Mesh Grabber modifiers to morphs before saving but other than that the process should be straightforward.

    Hey Richard,

    You're awesome. I've posted like 4 queries on this forum and all 4 got resolved by you. You're really good at this. 

    The update to DS 2025 really solved my problem and Iray is fully functional on GPU, while DS 4 is working too when CPU is activated, although my PC want's to take off laugh.

    Thanks for your inputs, save my day and oh, next time I'll make sure to include system details as well.
