    I like that but maybe it could be a little broader, about plans with not-so-great results."The Plan Was..." It could be for a company, personal, a government, whatever.

    So, looking at your suggestions, the theme "It was a great idea, but" might cover more bases and be a bit broader, but still be tight enough as a theme. What do you say?
