Is there a UV guide for Ultra Bodysuit?

Documentation ( http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/public/read_me/index/21445/21445_ultra-bodysuit-genesis-2-female-user-guide.pdf ) has a fairly low resolution image for various UV maps. Are there any higher resolution maps available?

Well, since nobody else answered...maybe my suggestion isn't what you are looking for....but can't just export the suit as an obj and then save a uv map out of UV Mapper. I've done that sometimes when I couldn't find a UV map on the Daz website. There use to be maps for most products right on the product page, but I don't seem to find them so much anymore. Also, you could probably copy one of the textures and use that as a map and paint over it on a layer or not...depending on what program you are using.

Oh, sorry, I got a PM and didn't think. It's actually... part of the actual product. I just bought it as part of a batch order and didn't notice that DIM didn't specifically download the UV maps.

    ... duuuh.

So, yeah, the UV map templates are part of the actual product.

  • I haven't got this product but wanna say thanks for posting that readme link on the product I've put it in my wishlist because of you know saw it in store but bypassed it but seeing that readme makes it look like very useful product is it something like the super suite? You've mentioned how good that is a lot too and tricks on using it to  enhance other clothing, I bought the Pro Suite version while back haven't really explored it yet though

You mean Supersuit for Genesis? Yeah, it's a lot like that and can do a lot of similar things.

I think the Ultra Bodysuit is better in certain respects, namely in that the material zones are a lot more sensibly laid out. Ultra Bodysuit has a load of options that handle a lot of regular clothing with cool HD morphs to add cloth wrinkles and so on: jumpsuits, corsets, pants, shirts, etc. Plus, of course, latex supersuits and all sorts of coolness.

I don't at all regret Supersuit for Genesis -- the pro suite has a bunch of armor presets, and I think Supersuit for Genesis is a little easier to use as armor than Ultra Bodysuit.

    Edit:

Thinking of armor, it occurs to me that my hoodie template can work nicely for those cowled chainmail outfits.

Edit edit: Ah, they're called 'hauberks'
