DAZ Gallery question

I've got an image in my gallery that I would like to update with some corrections. How do I do that? I see a Delete Image option, but that removes the gallery image completely, doesn't it? I'm not a complete novice, but I don't see an obvious option for updating the image.

    That is correct, the only way to "edit" an image is to delete the old one and upload the new one.

    I would try contacting DAZ_Ann0314 ([email protected]) and asking if there is any way this can be done.  I guess you probably don't want to lose any comments already made on your image?

    Yeah, there were a few comments made offering some helpful tips so I'd like to show that I did try to improve the image. Thank you for the tip, Chohole.

    Ann is the public face of the Gallery team, so if it is possible, she is the one that should know.

    I'd say leave the old one up and add the new one as a new image and in the desciption of both mention the updated version that way people can see and compare the two it's a great way to show how you've progressed many of us have uploaded variations of a same image

    Old post, but I used the idea, and Ann said it could not be done.  (just in case anyone else finds/uses this thread in the future)

    I kind of wish we could update gallery images. It seems a shame to lose nice comments and votes when you just want to update something like a clipping limb or lightening it.
