Applying a custom morph to V4.2 Creature Creator Tail

Hi folks,
Maybe this is doomed from the start and I should have looked into it before doing my sculpting, but I made a custom tail-end for the V4.2 Creature Creator tail and I can't figure out what I have to do to apply it.
Can't use morph loader seemingly, as it won't detect deltas.
Can't use transfer utility on the obj, as it's the old Poser bone system and not any of Daz's.
Did I waste my time?

it needs existing unused morph channels and you need to use ExP exporter to create inj and rem files for deltas
its a frustrating process I myself cannot do on mamy figures because they don't have the spare channels to use
(the DAZ cow for example, I couldn't add visemes)
I haven't looked at the CC tail
Right ~ V4.x has no general weight mapping, it can neither detect morph deltas nor rig objects with Transfer Utility. You can firstly convert it to General Weight mapping before creating morphs with MLP or rigging with TU... however, converting to general weight will destroy V4.x to certain extent ~~
So, one of my alternatives was to convert V4.x figure into G8F.... by using V4 Clone (https://www.daz3d.com/sy-victoria-4-and-michael-4-clones-for-genesis-8). Then making things on the converted ones.
Thanks for the replies.
Jeez. I'm...just gonna chop off the sculpted end of the tail and fit it as a rigid follow cap. This is looking like way more fuss than it's worth lol
this is the wearable tail for V4
Yes. Your message came in just as I was editing my last post to replace my not-so-great compromise with a better compromise. I just chopped off the new sculpted cap to the devil tail and fit it as a rigid follow. Doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle for anything further, I can just put a new rig on the cap.
Also a good alternative ~
You should be able to load a morph, if it says something like it can't find any deltas that would usually mean the OBJ you are importing is still in the base shape. If you leave the morph embedded in teh figure file then you also don't need to fiddle with the ExP exporter - that, unsurprisingly, is if you want to make it injectable using a custom channel.
