DAZMAS Code is NOT working

I have tried the code in my cart and it is not working. Kind of stinks, I was going to grab a character bundle with it. Help!

The product must be a Daz Originals and the base price before discount must be under $50.

A character bundle is very unlikely to fit the second rule.

Filter your wishlist for Daz Originals and look at the BASE price (without any discounts). It needs to be $50 or less. In most cases, this would be just Plat items you could get for less than $3.

Forget about getting the character bundles.

  • I did that and it still is not working. I picked a sky iray and for under $50 and it is still saying the coupon is invalid.

You should link the products you tried, maybe someone has one of them in their wishlist and can check if there is a problem with that specific item.

  • Now I got it to work. Thanks.

    This was handled very poorly.

The "under $50" conditon should have been in larger print. Also, the "base price" condition should have been listed.

And it would have been easier if the "view your wishlist" button only showed DAZ Originals.

But the exclusions and conditions are always in that exact spot and that exact print. It's not like they purposedly hid it, and they can't make users to actually read it if they don't. Having worked in video games industry and being an author, I have experience that tells that even if it was in 150 pt font in red and flashing, some users would still not read and complain.

Also, the "base price" condition should have been listed.

From what I can see, it's listed. It clearly says, "Must be under $50 MSRP."

And it would have been easier if the "view your wishlist" button only showed DAZ Originals.

You can use the "artist" filter to have your wishlist sorted only by a specific artist, Daz Originals included as an "artist". A feature that has been in the store for at least as long as I've been here, so it's not new nor hidden.

To be fair, a red flashing text on a webpage is one of the ugliest possible design choice (and I love red as a color) :P

    CHRISTMAS-30 isn't working for me.

    Me neither.

I've double checked everything and no fun.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I've gotten used to reading these little clauses.

  • Check if the product is being discounted as part of the current sales, there were a few items I tried that wouldn't accept the code because of this.

I agree. But I did have a coworker who used it along with flashing, on top of a page after having complaints of the information not being clear and visible enough., and the players still complained after clearly having not read it.

But we shouldn't have to do that. Daz love adding small print to their codes. So they should just say, "Is not applicable to "certain" items".

Thankfully, I still have one of my Premier coupons.

Another quirk with that coupon is I had both the Nutcracker Mouse Bundle and the Nutcracker Dolll in my cart because I own all the components in them so the bundles were free, $0.00. I also had Christmas freebies in my cart that were free at $0.00 but MSRP was a price less than $50.00 and so the coupon didn't seem to work, so I removed the coupon, checked out with all the other freebies and $0.00 bundles and then used the coupon on the desired freebie in the cart by itself. It was a former Better than DAZ $1.49 item but still a super great freebie.

I missed out on getting a giant bundle for $5 using the Christmas code with other items because I thought it would work with the DAZMAS coupon, turned out it doesn't work now because the MSRP is higher than the $50 limit (I misinterpreted it as the current sale price, which was $47) and it is one of only two DAZ original items in my wishlist - the other being the Victoria Makeup set which is also not working with the DAZMAS coupon for reasons I do not know. I'm probably going to not be able to use this coupon in the end.

I can't complain, I just bought a ton of stuff for a fraction of what it originally cost - but DAZ sales really are a pain in the butt. They really should not be so complicated.

Thank you, this was the problem for me. The item cannot be on sale, even if the original price is under the $50 limit. Something like 95% of my wish-listed items are quietly excluded because of this.
  • LATE-DELIVERY isn't working any one else cracked this code, I think Daz put these christmas crackers out to entice us, anything in your wish list under 50 dollars, hmm I tried a lot of tooing and froing in and out of the cart, coupon invalid, so if you managed to crack the code please let me know.

Did it, it has to be a DAZ ORIGINAL under 50.00 MSRP and you get your cracker, easy when you follow the clues xxx

I noticed many of my wishlist items showed a $49.99 MSRP.

I don't remember seeing that before.

I agree. I had the samoe issue as the original poster. I truly appreciate the sale and freebies DAZ has been offering us. But there should have been a bit more clarity. I also realize it must have been a pretty hectic time for DAZ staff.

Add this to your browser. I can't imagine going to the shop without it and that bookmarklet was released in September.

Being on sale is not relevant. What matters is the base price (with no discounts applied).

For example, Zen Mountain Bundle works just fine, as do several dozen other smaller Daz Originals bundles.

For those without Daz Originals on their wishlist - you know how these promotions tend to work. Start wishlisting the smaller bundles even if you wouldn't buy them yourself - plenty of them contain items that could be quite useful at the price of "free".

Frankly, I wishlist almost anything unless I know I absolutely hate the item. Never know when you might want it in the future and you know there will be another sale. My wishlist would be virtually empty otherwise.
