IRAY preview not correct

I have some outfits that show poke-throughs when rendered but ...

... BUT ...

... but when I preview the IRAY render in the editor, it shows a perfect render without the poke throughs. Is there a way to get the final render to look like the editor preview render? Thank you in advance.

PS: I'm experiencing this mostly with G8 (M&F) and sometimes with G3.

SubD level between preview and render are often different.

And if it has displacement it will first be calculated in render.

I often use displacement maps to hide poke throughs.

I often apply a push modifier, and set it to minimum to cover the pokethrough.

I occasionally set parts of the body to transparent to hide pokethroughs. Easy with full body outfits, but needs custom transparency maps for outfits that already don't cover everything (still not that hard, just needs some extra steps). Not an option for outfits with transparencies like gauze or lace.

With G8 selected go to Edit>Object>Geometry>Add Push Modifier. A pop-up will open and you select the clothing item with the poke-through.  The clothing item may appear quite baggy. Select the clothing item in the Scene Pane and in Parameters you will see the Pushmodifier slider. I ususally start by entering a value of .20. If poke-through is still present, I dial it up until it disappears. If poke-through isn't visible at .20, I dial it down as much as possible.

That's how I use it, there may be more efficient ways to use it.
